The Holy Spirit is a person, not an impersonal force or emanation. He is God, with the same eternal, omnipresent, and all-powerful attributes as God the Father and God the Son. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit created, revealed truth, and empowered. In the New Testament, He convicts of sin, regenerates believers, teaches and guides believers to truth, empowers believers to witness about Jesus, and intercedes for believers.
