What will the communication technology landscape look like

TECHNOLOGY LANDSCAPE LOOK LIKE IN 2026
A.D.?

2. 2016 - 2026
Right now 10 years may seem far off or it
may seem right around the corner.
Regardless of how It feels a lot can happen
in only 10 years and a lot of advancements
can take place. I am going to discuss some
of the realistic things in which I think are
going to be present in 2026.
3. SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY/SOCIAL
COGNITIVE THEORY
Social learning theory (Albert Bandura)
posits that learning is a cognitive process
that takes place in a social context and can
occur purely through observation or direct
instruction, even in the absence of motor
reproduction or direct reinforcement.
4. DIGITAL NOTEBOOKS
In classes you will no longer your paper and
folders. Every student will be assigned a
digital notebook. In this notebook anything
you write in it will be converted to typing and
saved in there unless you erase it. Instead of
teaches giving out hand out sheets they will
send files to your notebook.
5. DIGITAL NOTEBOOK
Another good thing that this will offer is that you can
easily find the notes you are looking for by searing by
word and anything with that word will show. For
example if you are looking for notes are your
trigonometry math, you would just simply search
trigonometry. Also it will organize by the classes you
add on there. This is going to eliminate the need for
paper which is essentially being wasted.
This is related social learning because of the
advances in technology it is going to bring to
education.
6. NEXT - DEVICE FOR ATHLETES –
Currently we have the Fitbit which help tracks exercises
and even sleeping habits. In 2026 there is going to be a
device that helps athletics. It will be wearable much like a
watch or the Fitbit. However it is going to be able to
measure weight, height, dehydration level. Telling them
when to drink more water based on body size, activity and
weather. It is going to be able to measure blood pressure
and those sorts of things. The purpose of this is going to
make sure everyone is healthy and that no one passes
out. This will prevent injuries that occur from over working
or not taking in enough water.
The critical mass theory deals with how when a lot of
people have something, it makes everyone want it. This is
how this product is going to be because anyone who
plays sports is going to want it based on the fact that
everyone has it.
7. PRINCIPLE OF RELATIVE CONSTANCY
the principle of relative constancy defines
things as advancements that it will not kill out
what it is replacing but simply be an
alternative that is a better one.
8. MOVIES/TV SHOWS
The device that is going to come out for this
is going to be similar to Netflix however it is
going to give you the option to watch
anything you want. Any movie or show will be
available for an additional fee a month. There
is is still going to be cable because the cost
of it is going to be drastically lower then what
this will be. You can type in a movie however
and play it instantly and people are going to
like that.
9. IN CONCLUSION
It is safe to say that there is a chance that all
of these things may very well be possible.
When it comes to communication and
technology we all can agree that it is only
going to grow in the next 10 years because
that is the trend it is going to follow. It will be
interesting to see how things go.
