What Should You Do When Writing An
Analytical Essay
Writing an essay on the topic "What Should You Do When Writing An Analytical Essay" can be
a challenging task that requires a thorough understanding of analytical thinking and effective
communication. Analytical essays demand a deep analysis of a given subject, compelling
evidence, and a clear presentation of ideas. The difficulty lies in the meticulous examination of
the topic, breaking it down into its components, and critically evaluating each part.
Crafting an analytical essay involves more than just stating facts; it requires the ability to
interpret information, draw connections, and develop a coherent argument. The writer must
delve into the subject matter, consider various perspectives, and construct a well-supported thesis
that reflects a nuanced understanding of the topic. This process can be time-consuming and
mentally demanding.
Moreover, the challenge extends to the organization and structure of the essay. A successful
analytical essay should have a logical flow, with each paragraph seamlessly leading to the next.
The introduction should grab the reader's attention, the body paragraphs should provide evidence
and analysis, and the conclusion should tie everything together while leaving a lasting impression.
Effective communication is key in analytical essays, and choosing the right words to convey
complex ideas can be daunting. Striking a balance between clarity and sophistication is crucial,
as the essay should be accessible to the reader while demonstrating the writer's intellectual depth.
In conclusion, writing an analytical essay requires a combination of critical thinking, research
skills, and effective communication. It demands a significant investment of time and effort to
ensure that the final piece is not only informative but also persuasive and well-structured.
If you find yourself struggling with such assignments, there are resources available to help.

Wizard Of Oz Chapter Summaries
Plot Summary: In the book, Dorothy is first at her farm in Kansas, and then a

landed on the Wicked Witch of the East, and now, to return to Kansas, she must
journey to the Emerald City, to see the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, she meets the
Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion, who decide to travel with her, so
they can gain their desires; a brain, a heart, and courage. After that, the group finds

The Year Round Schooling System Essay
The traditional school calendar used by most schools in the United States stems
from the original agrarian calendar as students were often called to tend to crops in
the summer. This was thoughtfully and effectively designed for the time period it
was created in; however, schools, research, and society have dramatically changed
since then. The agrarian calendar no longer makes sense, as we consider
overcrowding in schools and the significant research regarding the summer brain
drain. There are several models of year round schooling that would better serve all
stakeholders in most communities across the nation.
Position and Rationale American students do not need more time in school, but do
need access to more rigorous, engaging instruction, as well as a calendar that removes
the excessive break schedule (summers) and promotes healthy, regular breaks
throughout the year, such as the single track year round schooling system. Year round
education includes the possibility of three different formats: single track, multi track,
and the extended school year. Rodgers (1993) reports that the United States has the
shortest school year of (180 days) of any industrialized nation. She encourages
school districts to analyze other models of year round education as a method of
boosting student achievement. Rodgers, like Dessoff, shares the benefits and the
disadvantages of each format. According to Dessoff (2011), single track is the most
popular year round format, as it has
Rob Kardashian Analysis
Rob Kardashian is making a comeback and he may be rejoining the cast of Keeping
Up With the Kardashians. Radar Online, Sept. 22, 2015 reported that Rob lost
over 25 pounds. His mother Kris Jenner is so happy with her son that she wants
him back on the Kardashian reality show. To show Rob how pleased she is with
his slimmed down body, she had the production company offer him $500,000 to
come back to the show. She thinks that this will help Rob to continue with his
weight loss. An inside source admits that it is a good chunk of money, but Rob isn
t anxious to accept it. He doesn t want to come back to Keeping Up With the
Kardashians. Kris was embarrassed over her son s weight problem and people always

Examples Of Moral Dilemmas
2. What are values and norms and what is a moral dilemma?
To answer this question I will divide the question in three parts.
Starting with what values are. Values are an absolut or relative and ethic value of a
person. Values can be defined as a wide preference for specific actions.
The assumption of those can be a basic form for ethic handling.
A Valuesystem is a set of consistense values and measures. A principale value is a
fundamental on which values and measures of integrity are based.
Some values are physiologically determined and used usually for avoiding fysical
pain or for looking for fun. Other values are subjective, they are different for every
individu or for different religions. These values are more based on religion and their
beliefs. Different values are ethical/moral vales, ideological values, social values and

Then the last part of this question, moral dilemmas. But what is a Moral dilemma?.
A Moral Dilemma is that two well known cases conflict with eachother. In each case
you have moral reasons to do each of the two actions, but it is not possible to do
both. This is what you call moral dilemmas.
What is really a common factor for moral dilemmas is, is that it is kind of required
to do both actions, in this situation you can choose one of them but you can t do
both, so you start feeling that you failed, because both actions are important for
you. No matter which one you will choose you always have the feeling that you
failed or did something wrong. So to recap this all a Moral Dillema is a Dillema
between two factors/choices that are both important to you and whatever you choose
you will always think you made the wrong choice.

Significance And Significance Of Outsourcing
It is an evident fact that outsourcing is quite prevalent practice among both public and
private organizations. It has been considered as one of the prime elements of any
business strategy. It is with the aid of outsourcing that organizations attempt to reduce
the overall cost of sustenance and augment organizational productivity in
comprehensive terms. The activity of outsourcingenables the organization to render
higher level of emphasis on core activities of business. In the past thirty years, various
researchers have undertaken researches to support outsourcing as a mechanism for
bringing down organizational costsin a substantial manner. But the comprehensive
impact of outsourcing remains to be seen. This research work will assess the
relevance and significance of outsourcing in reference to the process of new product
development. It is a given fact that the process of new product development is a
highly knowledge driven activity and thereby depends on array of other activities. It
is highly dependent on organization s capabilities to manage uncertainties throughout
the course of new product development. Hence, various concerns in reference to
acquisition of knowledge and application need to be managed in the right manner. In
the words of Ford et al (1993), the main reason for costreduction is that organizations
engage in the process of outsourcing. Hence outsourcing of new product
development process can be regarded as a tool to decrease the high costs that are
The Controversy Of Laramie, Wyoming
Laramie, Wyoming is known as a mostly conservative, republican party majority,
which is why there were no hate crime laws that had to deal with sexual orientation
or gender identity. Republicans typically were Christians meaning they were against
homosexuality and believed it was very wrong. The Laramie officials did not pass
any law for about ten years, which showed the Laramie community that their own
government did not approve of homosexuals. The government in Laramie is a major
influence on a citizen s political opinion and how they feel on certain topics like
homosexuality. If the government does not show approval, how will the citizens of
Laramie gain a major acceptance towards homosexuals? Even the governor of
Wyoming did not... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This bill was called Resolution Seventeen, a bill defining marriage in Wyoming as
being exclusively between a man and woman (Kaufman 163). Connolly passionately
fought against such a piece of legislation arguing homosexuals should be able to be
able to marry as well. This did not go as well since the Laramie legislation consisted
of mainly conservative republicans refusing to allow anything, but the traditional
style of marriage. Republicans argue,
since the beginning of civilization, in every known society, governments have
recognized a marriage between a man and a woman because it provides the next
generation outstanding citizens and is the only means of melding two sexes into a
stronger and more complete whole (Kaufman 164).
This political party is very strict to their views and use history to show how a
traditional marriage is the only logical way to continue a working society.
Republican believe since homosexuals are unable to reproduce, they are unwilling to
have a functional family, which is why they do not agree with same sex marriage.
Since the republicans did not pass this bill same sex marriage is still currently today
illegal in Wyoming. By not passing this bill in Laramie this shows that there is still
ignorance throughout both the town of Laramie, the state of Wyoming, and the
country of the United States of America. This ignorance will continue to roam
throughout Laramie until change happens fully accepting all homosexuals as equal
members of the
Economics and the Problem of Utility Maximization
Within the field of economics, the utility maximization problem represents an
attempt to quantify the rationale used when consumers attempt to maximize the
satisfaction, or utility, they derive from the purchase of goods. With the typical
predetermined budgetary restriction imposed on the process, consumers must
balance their own limited funds against their desire to obtain certain items. This
means that the eventual level of utility received from all potential affordable
packages, and thus the consumer s optimal choices, can be expressed via the
equation x(p, w), where p is equal to a good s price and w is equal to the consumer
s wealth. The price of any given product must be considered during any attempt to
answer the utility maximization problem, because if , then u must be continuous and
no goods can be obtained free of charge (McEachern, 2010). In other words, because
the two rules dictating the boundaries of utility maximization within a two good
model clearly state that the marginal utilities per dollar must be equal and the
consumer s entire budget must be exhausted, the inclusion of goods which can be
obtained free of charge skews any conclusions regarding the consumer s eventual
utility. A good which costs nothing will always provide more immediate happiness
than one which costs money, and this fact prohibits economists from effectively
modeling any two good comparisons between free and for cost items. As is typically
the case for economics, however, simple
Test Preparation Strategy Analysis
Briefly, summarize your current test preparation strategy I really would like to say
that I am studying every day and taking the proper steps to achieve maximum test
results, but here I am still catching up work on Sunday. One thing that I do have on
my side is my test taking ability, part of what contributes to my inherent need to
procrastinate. Cramming is the only way to describe my current test preparation
strategy. List three strategies you can implement to improve your test preparation.
Be specific in terms of how you will put these plans into action 1. Time Management

you may not have even been aware of, releases chemicals in your brain to help with

that I worked out those weeks. I have slowly over the past few months worked out

taken its toll. Along those lines over the past couple of weeks, I have developed a
taste for Mountain Dew, I normally drink a gallon of water a day, and I have had
more soda in the past week than almost the rest of the year combined. While I may
not physically see the results of my current soda binge, I can feel it mentally and
physically. My plan here is simple, finish the last Mt. Dew that I have and drink
some water as well as reinstate my three to four workouts a week and start losing

The Film Shawshank Redemption We Learn About A Man
Who Is...
In the film Shawshank Redemption we learn about a man who is an educated,
professional banker by trade, who finds himself in a situation in which he chooses
to secretly follow his beautiful wife knowing she is having an affair with the golf
pro who works at their country club. One evening, Andy, the banker, decides to
bring a gun along with him as he follows his wife and the golf pro. He stops at a
couple of bars and proceeds to become inebriated. Andy is clearly a man whom by
all means would be considered a respectable person in society and follows the
particular norms of that time until he begins to make choices to differentiate
himself from the folkways and mores of any expectations regarding the laws that
had been established for the purpose of structure, order and conformity. By all
accounts we see Andy s character reflecting certain choices of conformity in which
he clearly represents behavior and appearance that follows and maintains a
particular standard and acceptance of a group. As we learn further in the story we
must also consider the factors of behavior that reflects deviance. This behavior
challenges the norms. Andy has been convicted of violating the norms of everyday
life by murdering his wife and her lover and he is arrested for the murder. Although
in Andy s court preceding he pled innocence and expressed to the judge that he had
not murdered his wife and her lover, maintaining the story that he had sobered
himself up and then
Symbolism In Stranger Than Fiction By Marc Forster
In the contemporary film Stranger Than Fiction by Marc Forster, Harold Crick, the
main character is being written about in a book without him knowing that the voice
in his head was the narrator. To make things worse the author does not even know
that her main character is real and that everything she writes down happens to him
in real life. Symbolism is vital and it adds depth and emotion to the film by making
the film more relatable to the audience, makes a greater impact, instead of just being
a scene that is straight through, it is more flexible, and it is also a crucial part of the
plotas one symbolcan drive the characters to be more dynamic and last the length of
the whole plot.
The audience can make a much better connection with the film when symbolism is
used, better than relating to an action or object alone. For the audience, a story that
you can not read into is extremely boring but, when symbolism is used, it makes the
audience connect to the story and develop their own ideas about the story or scene.
For example, when Mrs. Pascal gives Harold cookies, it symbolises the spreading of
happiness. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If there was not symbolism, the story or scene would not have much detail or be
flexible within different audience members. Without symbolism, the story will
just seem like the author put no thought into it but, when symbolism is added to it,
the story seems more detailed. When Harold tells Kay, the author of the book that
is being written about Harold, to finish her book and to kill him in the book which
will actually kill him in real life, this symbolises acceptance of fate. If there was
not this sort of symbolism in this scene it would seem like this story had no
emotion or detail. Symbolism is a necessary element to having a story with emotion
and detail, everybody has a different perspective on what a certain things symbolises,
so it creates the story to be more flexible as

back again for a new book, however this time he is having a train of bad luck
following him. The worst thing that has happened to him throughout the book is
that his best friend Rowley Jefferson and Abigail Brown have been a couple since
the end of the last book, Rowley has chosen to turn over a new leaf and is trying to
make new friends. Greg is left without any friends and decides to try something

Essay on American Politics
Every two to four years, politicians aspire to demonstrate their competency for
political office. Political campaigns and organizations concentrate millions of dollars
to undercut and outlast the opposition. They drag names through the mud, as if it
were the next step on the political corporate ladder. The American people, caught in
the middle, are torn between the need for elected officials and the heartbreak of
countless shattered oaths. Consequently, they dissociate themselves from misused
words like Democrat, Republican, and change. They have learned to bite their
tongue, drink their beer and leave well enough alone. That s exactly what the
politicians want. In 1933, the political landscape attained a new twist: No single...

political consulting must be in the hands of the most ethical, principle[d] people . . .
or else it will erode into the hands of people who have no regard for the world
around them. It could be a very, very destructive thing (Lepore 59). In America s
political history, there has never existed a person, who fits Baxter s standards. The
first five presidents, who helped instigate America s freedom, were still trapped in
monarchy s glamour: They hated monarchial rule, yet desired the appearance of a
king. Their periods of rule was marked with great ideologies, yet blotted with law
that was quite contrary. With the election of the seventh president, Andrew Jackson,
George Washington s political party free America was abandoned. Jackson

Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier Essay example
Cold Mountain
In Charles Frazier s Cold Mountain, the theme of music is one of the novel s most
powerful themes. From symbolizing character growth to the healing of physical
wounds, music plays an integral part in this novel. While many critics will point out
that music has little effect on the human psyche, Charles Frazier shows his belief that
music does indeed have a profound effect on the human mind throughout Cold
Mountain. Throughout the novel, Inman, Ada, Ruby, Stobrod, and many other
characters experience music that allows them to keep faith against the odds or even
heal their wounds! There are three major types of music used in this novel; hymn
music, folk music, and natural music . It is through these types of music that ... Show

But Monroe preached that they were misunderstanding the song if they fooled
themselves into thinking all creation would someday love them. What it really
required was for them to love all creation (78). Monroe used the hymns of his
church as a means to spread his ideas of how people ought to live their lives. This
pattern is also apparent with Inman. When he meets Swimmer, a Native American,
he learns of a chant that could kill the soul of an enemy (20). Inman cannot accept
this notion because he had been taught by sermon and hymn to hold as truth that
the soul of man never dies (20). Charles Frazier believed in the power of hymn to
influence what people believed about spirituality and the soul. This parallels the
historical usage of hymns in church during the Civil War as well as in today s
church as a means to pass down culture. Hymn music also had the ability to
strengthen the Church and to solidify the beliefs of the parishioners. There is a large
disagreement over the influence of religious music over a person s beliefs. The
evangelical song leaders believed that religious music moved people with no faith
to a life dedicated to praising God, but people from outside the church described
religious music as cheap and tawdry (Squire 242). According to the United
Evangelical Front religious music was a way to articulate God s plan and extend the
influence of religion outside of the church
Orphan Train Writing Style
When I first began reading Kline s novel, Orphan Train, I originally was not a fan
of the book. In the sections featuring Molly, I felt like Kline s writing style was
poor and amateur. For example, Kline includes numerous swear words in an
attempt to make the dialogue more relatable; however, her attempt falls flat and
only increases the unnecessary amount of melodrama that exists in Molly s world.
I do not find it impressive or relatable when Molly swears at Dina or while around
Jack. To be clear, I do not have an issue with swearing, but I do have an issue with
how swearing is only included to emphasize how much Molly hates Dina and
furthers the idea that Dina is a one dimensional antagonist. Dina is portrayed as
essentially evil incarnate, she disregards Molly s dietary choices, verbally abuses
her husband and Molly, and has an insufferable personality. Dina has no redeeming
quality about her; Kline has failed to write a believable antagonist. Overall, I did not
enjoy the beginning of the novel.
Though I may dislike Kline s writing style and her portrayal of characters during the
sections with Molly, I enjoyed the sections with Vivian and all of her previous
incarnations. Not only did Kline s writing style significantly improve during these
sections, but the majority of the characters had an element of believability and
humanity to them. Even Mr. Grote who attempts to rape Dorothy does his best to
provide for his family. I m not trying to justify his actions, I m just

1. Who was to blame for Iridium s failure? Why? At what point could you have
known Iridium would fail?
2. What is your evaluation of Iridium s system design? What impact did the choices
that were made have on subsequent evolution of the venture?
3. What is your evaluation of Iridium s organizational design? What changes could
you have made to increase the probability of Iridium s success?
Q1. In the case of Iridium several parties are to blame for the failure. They are:
Dr. Edward Staiano the former CEO of Iridium was responsible for Iridium s
development in a significant way. When he came from Motorola, the company
offered him stock options besides his fixed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This lead to significantly increasing costs (about 5 $ billion ). Because Iridium
needed such a great number of satellites they developed assembly lines that allowed
them to produce satellites at one tenth of the original production costs and made it
possible to finish a new satellite every four and a half days.
Handsets The Iridium phones didn t need to be as big as they would have been
with GEO satellite but still had an enormous size [5], which made it really hard to
market them.Furthermore the long antenna had to be pointed directly and in an
open sight way at the satellites and according to that the phones didn t work in
closed buildings, moving cars or undergrounds. These facts didn t exactly provide
the kind of flexibility that was needed by the potential target group, traveling
business people. The handsets were planned to cost 3000 $ with a 2 8 $ per minute
calling fee , this was a lot more expensive than cellular telephones.
Competing technologies With the rapid and unexpected developement of the cellular
network, the Iridium technology became obsolete in areas covered by terrestrial
mobile telephony. Although Iridium offered a GSM service for roaming into cellular
networks, it was still more expensive than the regular cellular charge, so the target
group shrank to people who were in the few regions not covered
Key Elements Of Orientalism In Aladdin
Edward Said describes the Orient as people who are from the East; particularly Asia
and the Middle East (Said, 2001). Oriental culture is often represented as exotic or
other in some cases; this is because the West believes the East is to be feared. I will
explore the key elements of Orientalism and explain how this functions in the film
Aladdin (Ron Clements, John Musker: 1992). In Aladdin, there are distinctive
differences between the East and the West which Said states, creates binary
oppositions between them. This is demonstrated through the exploration of characters
Aladdin and Jaffar. The key elements of OrientalismI will be exploring are:
representations of race, sexualisation of the Orientand the exoticisation of... Show

Western culture constructs an ideology of Eastern culture and beliefs, then imposes
these constructed ideas onto Eastern culture.
The opposition between Aladdin and Jaffar represents the Western views of the
East and the West. This is why Jaffar is vilified. Europe [derived itself] from the
formation of [...] global contrast. Europe and the Orient were opposite poles in a
system of civilisational values which were defined by Europe (Delanty, 1995: 84).
Delanty s comment here explicitly depicts a binary opposition as the West is
constantly trying to contrast itself to the East. The Western ideology is located
through the film s protagonist Aladdin. Aladdin embodies the Western dream in
his rags to riches story. He believes he can make something of himself and be a
figure of importance, an ideology which is seen as an aim in many Western
societies. Aladdin s ideology of a life where he can be treated equally contrasts
Jafar s Eastern ideology that he can rise to power , and possess dominant control.
Jafar s attempt to rise to power is symbolic of the West s fear of Eastern control,
and inevitably Jafar/ the East must be stopped. In order to enable the removal of the
Eastern oriental figure and at the same time appeal to the audience, the Eastern
ideology is negatively constructed; shown within the final scenes to prove Jafar s
antagonism. He is seen raising his hand to hit female protagonist Jasmine (1:12:20

OSTEOARTHRITIS (OA)
OA is considered primary when no etiology can be clearly identified and secondary
when the disease develops in response to injuries such as joint trauma, ligament
injury causing instability, Paget s disease, Ehlers Danlos (congenital joint laxity), or
congenital malformation of a joint. Twin and family studies have shown a
multifactorial pattern in primary OA. Precocious OA (onset early in life) has been
associated with a mutation in the gene coding for Type II collagen.
The initial changes in OA are found in the superficial zone of the articular cartilage
and consist of an increased water content of the articular cartilage and loss of
proteoglycan. Proteolytic degradation of proteoglycan reduces its chain length and

There is a very strong association with the phenotypic frequency of the
histocompatibility antigen, HLA B27, particularly in Caucasians. Infectious agents
(e.g., Shigella from the gastrointestinal tract) may be involved in triggering the
disease. There is a strong overlap between the arthritis associated with inflammatory
bowel disease and ankylosing spondylitis. Many patients with IBD develop a degree
of spondylitis, and many patients with ankylosing spondylitis have evidence of bowel
inflammation on biopsy.
Clinical Features
**AS and other spondyloarthopathies are characterized by three features: (1)
insidious but sometimes abrupt onset in patients under age 40, (2) duration of
symptoms more than 3 months, and (3) morning stiffness which improves with
exercise. The joints characteristically affected are the sacroiliac joints, the lumber
vertebrae, thoracic and cervical vertebrae, the hips and rarely the peripheral joints. A
patient with bilateral sacroiliitis without the features of Reiter s syndrome (see
below), psoriasis, or inflammatory bowel disease, may be diagnosed with AS if there
is also limitation in motion of the spine.
Women rarely are diagnosed with AS. The reason for this protective effect of patient
sex is not understood. Women can have low back pain and bilateral sacroillitis, but
the spine is rarely
Taking a Look at White Collar Crimes
In this research paper that you are about to read you will learn something s about
white collar. You will be learning who coined the term, what it is, and you will
also be learning who does it. The term white collar is define as of or relating to the
work done or those who work in an office or other professional environment. It was
coined by the late great Edwin Sutherland in 1941. Sutherland said white collar is a
crime committed by a person of respectability and high social status in the course
of his occupation (siegel 337). Let me just give you some examples of a white
collar crime, promulgating or misleading advertisements, illegal exploitation of
employees, putting bad labels on goods, violating of measures statues etc. For
many judges and jurors, what goes on in an executive suite may just as well be
happening in mars, says University of Illinois law professor Larry Ribstein
(ribstein prosecutorial advantages pg. 2). Ribstein is right what goes on in an
executive office most of the time doesn t come out most of the time because most
of the corporate executives are selfish greedy and irresponsible. CEO s make sure
their covered they are the most selfish one s/smart ones cause they don t get fired
most of the time because they cover themselves. Signs that banks were either lying
about their results or were taking large risks that were not fully disclosed (Gelinas,

Suresh V Canada Case Summary
Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from
persecution.
Through out the world and over the centuries, societies have welcomed frightened,
weary strangers, the victims of persecution and violence. This humanitarian tradition
of offering sanctuary is often now played on the television screens across the globe as
war and large scale persecution produce millions of refugees and internally displaced
persons. At the start of 21st century, protecting refugees means maintaining solidarity
with the worlds most threatened, while finding answers tot eh challenges confronting
the international system that was created to do just that.

In the famous case of Suresh v Canada, Suresh was a Sri Lankan born Tamil. He first
came to Canada in the year 1990 and made a refugee claim based on fear of
persecution by the Sri Lankan government. He was also the supporter of the Tamil
tigers (a listed terrorist organization) and had done some fundraising for them in the
past. Minister of immigration filed a certificate under s.40.1 of the immigration act
saying that Suresh was inadmissible to Canada on security grounds. Suresh was
confined the next day. The certificate was mentioned to the Federal Court for
determination of whether it was rational, and the court approve the Ministers
decision. He was given a deportation hearing, and the board held that while Suresh
was not straightforward involved in terrorism, his membership in a terrorist group
was adequate grounds for extradition. Under s. 53(1)(b), the Minister gave notice to
Suresh that she was considering issuing an judgement that she well thought out him
to be a danger to the safety of Canada, which would permit the Minister to extradite
him despite the risk of torture. Accordingly, Suresh submitted composed and
narrative proof on this theme. A migration officer, Gautier, considered Suresh s

This process will provide an approach to making major decisions in your business
future direction. I think that the external audit can identify internal strengths and
weaknesses and also, external threat. By using the information that is gathered, you
can establish long term objectives and pursue the correct strategies in your business.
An external audit provides information on many different levels in the business
environment. Areas available for reviewing can be competitive activity, economic
conditions, social and cultural trends, demographic changes, political attitudes to
business, and regulatory changes. The outcome of an external audit can provide
possible negative issues and positive opportunities in the business environment. This
could impact your decisions either way. Certainly, new product development, market
openings or closings, mergers and acquisitions, and resource allocation will be
valuable information. Ultimately it could impact the long term decisions made for
the future success of the business.
Communication is a key factor in Crisis Management. Having an official individual
designated to control all the information and ensure accuracy and consistency when
releases it to the media. Kim Gordon in an Article for Entrepreneur recommends that
this individual should have a calm manner under pressure, have good credibility,
smile at the camera, and present a positive image for your

Atlantic Railroad. People soon settled around the zero milepost and donned it the
settlement Terminus. In later years in was named Therville and then Marthasville

Members of Congress Should Have Term Limits Essay
When the United States was founded, the theme behind the new government was to
establish an efficient system without doling out too much power to any one person.
The Founders intended to prevent a rebirth of tyranny, which they had just escaped
by breaking away from England. However, when members of Congress such as
Tom Foley, who served as a Representative from 1964 through 1995, and Jack
Brooks, who served as a Representative from 1952 through 1994, remain in the
legislative system for over forty years, it is evident that tyranny has not necessarily
been eradicated from the United States (Vance, 1994, p. 429). Term limits are a
necessity to uphold the Founders intentions, to prevent unfair advantages given to
incumbents, and to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Today, career politicians are constantly looking for what will aid them in getting
reelected. They become more loyal to their campaign fund contributers than to the
people whom they represent. This increases the likelihood of having corrupted
politicians in office, as they use the government as a vehicle to further their own
career (Kurfirst, 1996, p. 123, 129). George Will, a well known political journalist,
was quoted as saying [The] worst feature of professionalism in politics is that it
obliterates the proper distance between the representatives and the represented
(Kurfirst, 1996, p. 125). Even James Madison agreed that legislators were meant to
represent the people, not hold office as a career. In The Federalist No. 57 (1788),
he wrote, From this change of men must proceed a change of opinions; and from a
change of opinions, a change of measures. The lack of new faces in Congress today
symbolizes that the American legislative branch is straying from its intended
purpose. While both houses were intended to have new members regularly with
each election, the House of Representatives was especially supposed to change.
James Madison wrote, in The Federalist No. 57 (1788), [Representatives] will be
taken from that class of citizens which will...be most likely to aim at an ambitious
sacrifice of the many and the aggrandizement of the few. Whereas Senators were
Battle Of The Bulge Essay
The Battle of the Bulge was an important battle for World War Two. This represented
Hitler s last attempt on trying to defeat the Allied forces, and thought that the bond
between the British, the United States, and the Soviet Union were weak.
On December of 1944, Adolph Hitler the leader of the German Nazi Army, attempted
to split the Allied Armies in northwest Europe by means of a surprise blitzkrieg thrust
through the Ardennes to Antwerp. Caught off guard, US fought desperate battles to
stem the German advance at St. Vith, Elsenborn Ridge, Houffalize and Bastogne. As
the Germans drove deeper into the Ardennes, the Allied line took an appearance of a
large bulge, giving the rise of the battles name.

The United States have defeated the leader of the German Army and dictator. With
the death of 600,000 American troops who were involved in the battle. The
Americans lost 81,000 men while the Germans lost 100,000 killed, wounded and
captured. Could the Germans have won the battle? Almost certainly not, as they had
one huge problem, their inability to keep their armoured columns supplied with fuel.
Any form of armoured attack needed a constant supply of fuel, and Allied bombing of
fuel plants in Germany meant that such supplies did not exist. For Adolf Hitler, the
battle marked the end of eight years of offensive maneuvers in the West, large and
small, dating back to his occupation of the Rhineland. More ominously, the battle
marked the beginning of the final military phase for Hitler, emphasizing Nazi
fanaticism over the battlefield logic as the way to overcome shortages of men and
equipment. Never again would Hitler be able to launch an offensive in the west on
such a scale. An admiring British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill stated, This
is undoubtedly the greatest American battle of the war and will, I believe, be
regarded as an ever famous American victory. Otherwise, in terms of participation and
losses, the Battle of the Bulge is arguably the greatest battle in American military
Air Defense Birth
The Birth of Air Defense During post Cold War Era Air Defense Artillery began the
technological advances and defensive systems in order to protect the United States
against any threat foreign or domestic. The development of air defense capabilities
was due to defense vulnerabilities that were revealed during World War II, also, the
Cold Warintroduced new threats that would change the way air defense would
engage and defeat the enemy in the future. Air Defense Artillery introduced the
guided missile which allowed the Army to specialize and take their combat
experience developed in Vietnam into the Nike missile variants which proved
invaluable during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the cold war, ultimately allowing

(Cuban, n.d.) America needs to be defended. We need missile defense to better police
the skies over the United States. Rudy Givliani The 2nd Battalion 52nd Air Defense
Artillery Regiment at Fort Bliss, Texas deployed to Florida in response to the
Soviet Union threat, bringing one of the original versions of the Nike Hercules
missile. (Carter, n.d.) The Nike Hercules missile is a Surface to Air missile (SAM)
which is capable of destroying ballistic missiles and airplanes. Even though the
Nike Hercules was capable of destroying a vast majority of ballistic missiles, its
specifications did not match up to the Soviet Union threat with a distance of only
320 kilometers of travel. The United States was left with only one option to
counteract the new threat; they then began to upgrade pieces of the Nike Hercules
missile to try to compare to the Soviet Union. Thus, creating the Nike series: Zeus A,

the Zeus Series missiles proved successful in defense against the ballistic missiles

The History Of Cristiano Ronaldo
The History of Cristiano Ronaldo Since the beginning of time humans have found
exercise as a fun way to stay healthy and enjoy life. Although many exercises and
sports have been invented since, one sport has taken the spot light from the others.
Soccer also known as football, is a game played by two teams both containing 11
players on the field and two goalie boxes on each side of the field. The rules to the
game are very simple, the only players allowed to use full contact with the ball are
the goalies other than that the rest of the players cannot touch the ball with their
hands; with the objective being to try to shoot the round ball into your opponent s
goal. Since the start of soccer is have become the most popular sport, in fact
according to a 2001 FIFA survey, over 240 million people regularly play soccer in
more than 200 countries, in every part of the world (Murray Bill). With the love
soccer has received the world has witnessed great soccer players, but none like
Cristiano Ronaldo from being a father, model, businessman to best soccer player in
the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has definitely left a print in soccer history. On
February 5, 1985 the birth of arguably the greatest soccer player of all time
happened in a small island in Portugal named Madeira. It was through his dads
work as an equipment manager at a boys soccer club where Ronaldo was first
introduced to soccer. (Biography.com Editors) Ronaldo s talent for the sport grew

The Chaotic Reign of Akhenaten
Amenhotep III was a pharaoh of ancient Egypt from around 1388 BC till about
1350 BC. During his rule of Egypt, was a period of unprecedented prosperity and
artistic splendor (Wiki: Amenhotep III). The art from this time showed several
gods that ancient Egyptians worshiped, such as Amun, Anubis, Aten, Ra, and many
others. Most art was drawn in a way that most of the body parts were sized
according to standard proportions, yet the poses were so rigid that they seem to
have little sense of movement, if any at all. Many of these drawings were reliefs on
walls and pottery. The art was known for its boldness and controlled vitality. Most of
the architecture and sculptures were made from heavy materials, mostly stone, which

The temple appeared to not have a roof in order for the offering tables to be exposed
to direct sunlight. Smaller temples, such as the Rud menu, the Teni menu, and Hwt
benben (Redford), were also constructed as Aten temples.
These upcoming drastic changes have been thought to be either that Amenhotep has
somehow lost his sanity, that he found a new religious revelation, or for political
reasons like the fact that pharaohs may have been heading towards a direction where
they would lose their powers over the people to the gods or the cults following them.
In Amenhotep IV s fifth year of his reign, He chose to change his name to Akhenaten.
This was due to the name Amenhotep is directed to the god Amun by meaning
Amun is satisfied and Akhenaten meaning Spirit of the Aten . At this time is when
most of what we know as Egypt had changed for a short period in history. Soon
after his change of name he found a new city called Akhentaten ( Horizon of Aten ,
known now as Amarna) and started the construction of his new capital. By his
seventh year he moved the capital to this new city in possible attempts of breaking
previous Egyptian religion which the old capital, Thebes, was heavily influenced
with. By his ninth year he created a new religion where there was no after life or
other gods besides the sun god. Egyptians were banned to worship any god
Logistics

In both vertical and horizontal marketing systems, systematised information
contributes to the efficient flow of goods and services from the point of origin to the
point of consumption. This process of regulation begins with customer service and
extends to the procurement, handling, and processing of resources aimed at
delivering customer satisfaction. All ways in which resources are procured, handled,

The behaviours described above are due to JIT II, the new version of just in time

and suppliers both worry about releasing too much confidential data or technology.
Manufacturers, in particular, expose themselves to risk by revealing their costs. Such
suppliers may suddenly find themselves at the mercy of customers trying to squeeze

Water Vapor Research Paper
Water vapor is just water just in its gaseous state other than its solid or liquid state.
Water vapor is completely transparent. a cloud, fog or mist is all liquid water and not
water vapor.
Water vapor is hugely important to the weather climate. Without water vapor there
would be no rain, clouds, or snow, because all of these weather conditions need
water vapor to form. All of the water vapor that evaporates from the surface of our
planet will in the end return as precipitation. Precipitation forms when small ice
particles in the clouds expand and merge to become so big that it s fall speed goes
so fast that it will then fall out of the cloud. Water vapor is Earth s most important
greenhouse gas, being around 90% of Earth s natural greenhouse ... Show more

This helps with the cooling of Earth s surface. This is released again when water
vapor condenses to form cloud water. This heat source helps run the updrafts in
clouds and the precipitation network. Which then effects in even more water vapor
to condense into a cloud or to make a cloud. The more cloud water and ice from
precipitation. Carbon dioxide is a gas and it is formula is CO2. Carbon is an element
that is found all over the world and also in every living thing. Oxygen is also another
element it is the air we breathe. When carbon and oxygen join together, the create a
colourless, odorless gas which is called carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a heat
trapping gas and one of the greenhouse gases. How is carbon dioxide made though?
When we burn fossil fuels that could be coal, oil, or even to drive our cars to work,
it could also be when we electricity to light up our homes or even making these
products we will create carbon dioxide. Our atmosphere is not the only part of
Earth that has carbon. The oceans store large masses of carbon, so does plants,
soil, and drop offs of coal, oil and also natural gases deep underground. Carbon
naturally moves around from one part of our planet to a different part of the Earth
during what is known as the carbon cycle. Right now when you burn fossil fuels
people are adding lots of carbon to our atmosphere which is in the form of carbon
dioxide quicker
Rewards before Performance Is Complete
Issue: Can the offer of reward be revoked after the performance has been
completed, before the performance has been completed? England. Rule: Offer of
reward is an offer for a unilateral contract (Carlill v Carbolic Smoke Ball, the
modern example is Bowerman v Association of British Travel Agents). Intention to
be bound is to be accessed objectively:if a man makes such an offer to an offeree
that a reasonable third party would believe that a valid offer has been made and
with that believe the offeree enters into the contract with the man making the offer,
this man will be bound by his offer. (Smith v Hughes) Offer for a unilateral contract
is accepted by performance of what the offer requires (Carlill v Carbolic Smoke
Ball, the modern example is Bowerman v Association of British Travel Agents).
Acceptance doesn t need to meet any formal requirements, except that it must
make it clear to the offeror that the terms of his were unconditionally accepted. The
acceptance must be a mirror image of the offer (mirror image rule). Acceptance
can be made by conduct. Revocation is always allowed before the offer has been
accepted. Otherwise there would be no consideration. Offer for a unilateral
contract cannot be revoked if the performance has begun, unless it was clearly
stated in the offer that it can be revoked at any time (Luxor (Eastbourne) LTD v
Cooper). Revocation of the offer is to be allowed in very exceptional cases

Crotoan Epilogue
Prologue
We stood on the beach watching the ship sail away from us, they refused to take
us any further. So there we stood watching, waiting, and praying for the best. It
was just us women and children, the men had gone ahead and scouted out the area.
We could still just barely see the ship on the horizon, fading into the distance. None
of us dared to more for fear of losing sight of it, so we stood there, and did not move
until none of us could see it. Then we stood some more, and waited until the men
came back saying it was all clear. We all turned around at the same time and didn t

would allow Orion, mind you it s ORION, to go on night watch. The Governor s
probably hoping he ll be killed by the Natives. Oh God please help us.
Is it really that surprising? Orion asked.
No, no not at all, I lied I was just was so happy for you I couldn t hide the happiness
on my face.
Oh, ok, He said I ll see you later then?
Yes of course! (Sarcasm folks, sarcasm)
Bye!
Bye.
Finally he s gone, Now what was I doing again? I said rubbing my sore toe. Oh! Yes!
That s right. I was...yep, I have no clue what I was

What Should You Do When Writing An Analytical Essay.pdf

  • 1. What Should You Do When Writing An Analytical Essay Writing an essay on the topic "What Should You Do When Writing An Analytical Essay" can be a challenging task that requires a thorough understanding of analytical thinking and effective communication. Analytical essays demand a deep analysis of a given subject, compelling evidence, and a clear presentation of ideas. The difficulty lies in the meticulous examination of the topic, breaking it down into its components, and critically evaluating each part. Crafting an analytical essay involves more than just stating facts; it requires the ability to interpret information, draw connections, and develop a coherent argument. The writer must delve into the subject matter, consider various perspectives, and construct a well-supported thesis that reflects a nuanced understanding of the topic. This process can be time-consuming and mentally demanding. Moreover, the challenge extends to the organization and structure of the essay. A successful analytical essay should have a logical flow, with each paragraph seamlessly leading to the next. • 3. The Year Round Schooling System Essay The traditional school calendar used by most schools in the United States stems from the original agrarian calendar as students were often called to tend to crops in the summer. This was thoughtfully and effectively designed for the time period it was created in; however, schools, research, and society have dramatically changed since then. The agrarian calendar no longer makes sense, as we consider overcrowding in schools and the significant research regarding the summer brain drain. There are several models of year round schooling that would better serve all stakeholders in most communities across the nation. Position and Rationale American students do not need more time in school, but do need access to more rigorous, engaging instruction, as well as a calendar that removes the excessive break schedule (summers) and promotes healthy, regular breaks throughout the year, such as the single track year round schooling system. Year round education includes the possibility of three different formats: single track, multi track, and the extended school year. Rodgers (1993) reports that the United States has the shortest school year of (180 days) of any industrialized nation. She encourages school districts to analyze other models of year round education as a method of boosting student achievement. Rodgers, like Dessoff, shares the benefits and the disadvantages of each format. According to Dessoff (2011), single track is the most popular year round format, as it has

  • 5. Examples Of Moral Dilemmas 2. What are values and norms and what is a moral dilemma? To answer this question I will divide the question in three parts. Starting with what values are. Values are an absolut or relative and ethic value of a person. Values can be defined as a wide preference for specific actions. The assumption of those can be a basic form for ethic handling. A Valuesystem is a set of consistense values and measures. A principale value is a fundamental on which values and measures of integrity are based. Some values are physiologically determined and used usually for avoiding fysical pain or for looking for fun. Other values are subjective, they are different for every individu or for different religions. These values are more based on religion and their beliefs. Different values are ethical/moral vales, ideological values, social values and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Then the last part of this question, moral dilemmas. But what is a Moral dilemma?. A Moral Dilemma is that two well known cases conflict with eachother. In each case you have moral reasons to do each of the two actions, but it is not possible to do both. This is what you call moral dilemmas. What is really a common factor for moral dilemmas is, is that it is kind of required to do both actions, in this situation you can choose one of them but you can t do both, so you start feeling that you failed, because both actions are important for you. No matter which one you will choose you always have the feeling that you failed or did something wrong. So to recap this all a Moral Dillema is a Dillema between two factors/choices that are both important to you and whatever you choose you will always think you made the wrong choice. 3.What Values and Norms does the chosen organisation

It has been considered as one of the prime elements of any business strategy. It is with the aid of outsourcing that organizations attempt to reduce the overall cost of sustenance and augment organizational productivity in comprehensive terms. The activity of outsourcingenables the organization to render higher level of emphasis on core activities of business. In the past thirty years, various researchers have undertaken researches to support outsourcing as a mechanism for bringing down organizational costsin a substantial manner. But the comprehensive impact of outsourcing remains to be seen. This research work will assess the relevance and significance of outsourcing in reference to the process of new product development. It is a given fact that the process of new product development is a highly knowledge driven activity and thereby depends on array of other activities. It is highly dependent on organization s capabilities to manage uncertainties throughout the course of new product development. Hence, various concerns in reference to acquisition of knowledge and application need to be managed in the right manner. In the words of Ford et al (1993), the main reason for costreduction is that organizations engage in the process of outsourcing. Hence outsourcing of new product development process can be regarded as a tool to decrease the high costs that are

Connolly passionately fought against such a piece of legislation arguing homosexuals should be able to be able to marry as well. This did not go as well since the Laramie legislation consisted of mainly conservative republicans refusing to allow anything, but the traditional style of marriage. Republicans argue, since the beginning of civilization, in every known society, governments have recognized a marriage between a man and a woman because it provides the next generation outstanding citizens and is the only means of melding two sexes into a stronger and more complete whole (Kaufman 164). This political party is very strict to their views and use history to show how a traditional marriage is the only logical way to continue a working society. Republican believe since homosexuals are unable to reproduce, they are unwilling to have a functional family, which is why they do not agree with same sex marriage. • 8. Economics and the Problem of Utility Maximization Within the field of economics, the utility maximization problem represents an attempt to quantify the rationale used when consumers attempt to maximize the satisfaction, or utility, they derive from the purchase of goods. With the typical predetermined budgetary restriction imposed on the process, consumers must balance their own limited funds against their desire to obtain certain items. This means that the eventual level of utility received from all potential affordable packages, and thus the consumer s optimal choices, can be expressed via the equation x(p, w), where p is equal to a good s price and w is equal to the consumer s wealth. The price of any given product must be considered during any attempt to answer the utility maximization problem, because if , then u must be continuous and no goods can be obtained free of charge (McEachern, 2010). In other words, because the two rules dictating the boundaries of utility maximization within a two good model clearly state that the marginal utilities per dollar must be equal and the consumer s entire budget must be exhausted, the inclusion of goods which can be obtained free of charge skews any conclusions regarding the consumer s eventual utility. A good which costs nothing will always provide more immediate happiness than one which costs money, and this fact prohibits economists from effectively modeling any two good comparisons between free and for cost items. As is typically the case for economics, however, simple

  • 11. Symbolism In Stranger Than Fiction By Marc Forster In the contemporary film Stranger Than Fiction by Marc Forster, Harold Crick, the main character is being written about in a book without him knowing that the voice in his head was the narrator. To make things worse the author does not even know that her main character is real and that everything she writes down happens to him in real life. Symbolism is vital and it adds depth and emotion to the film by making the film more relatable to the audience, makes a greater impact, instead of just being a scene that is straight through, it is more flexible, and it is also a crucial part of the plotas one symbolcan drive the characters to be more dynamic and last the length of the whole plot. The audience can make a much better connection with the film when symbolism is used, better than relating to an action or object alone. For the audience, a story that you can not read into is extremely boring but, when symbolism is used, it makes the audience connect to the story and develop their own ideas about the story or scene. When Harold tells Kay, the author of the book that is being written about Harold, to finish her book and to kill him in the book which will actually kill him in real life, this symbolises acceptance of fate. From symbolizing character growth to the healing of physical wounds, music plays an integral part in this novel. While many critics will point out that music has little effect on the human psyche, Charles Frazier shows his belief that music does indeed have a profound effect on the human mind throughout Cold Mountain. Throughout the novel, Inman, Ada, Ruby, Stobrod, and many other characters experience music that allows them to keep faith against the odds or even heal their wounds! But Monroe preached that they were misunderstanding the song if they fooled themselves into thinking all creation would someday love them. What it really required was for them to love all creation (78). Monroe used the hymns of his church as a means to spread his ideas of how people ought to live their lives. This pattern is also apparent with Inman. When he meets Swimmer, a Native American, he learns of a chant that could kill the soul of an enemy (20). Inman cannot accept this notion because he had been taught by sermon and hymn to hold as truth that the soul of man never dies (20). Charles Frazier believed in the power of hymn to influence what people believed about spirituality and the soul. This parallels the historical usage of hymns in church during the Civil War as well as in today s church as a means to pass down culture. Hymn music also had the ability to strengthen the Church and to solidify the beliefs of the parishioners. There is a large disagreement over the influence of religious music over a person s beliefs. The evangelical song leaders believed that religious music moved people with no faith to a life dedicated to praising God, but people from outside the church described religious music as cheap and tawdry (Squire 242). According to the United Evangelical Front religious music was a way to articulate God s plan and extend the influence of religion outside of the church
  • 17. Orphan Train Writing Style When I first began reading Kline s novel, Orphan Train, I originally was not a fan of the book. In the sections featuring Molly, I felt like Kline s writing style was poor and amateur. For example, Kline includes numerous swear words in an attempt to make the dialogue more relatable; however, her attempt falls flat and only increases the unnecessary amount of melodrama that exists in Molly s world. I do not find it impressive or relatable when Molly swears at Dina or while around Jack. To be clear, I do not have an issue with swearing, but I do have an issue with how swearing is only included to emphasize how much Molly hates Dina and furthers the idea that Dina is a one dimensional antagonist. Dina is portrayed as essentially evil incarnate, she disregards Molly s dietary choices, verbally abuses her husband and Molly, and has an insufferable personality. Dina has no redeeming quality about her; Kline has failed to write a believable antagonist. Overall, I did not enjoy the beginning of the novel. Though I may dislike Kline s writing style and her portrayal of characters during the sections with Molly, I enjoyed the sections with Vivian and all of her previous incarnations. The opposition between Aladdin and Jaffar represents the Western views of the East and the West. This is why Jaffar is vilified. Europe [derived itself] from the formation of [...] global contrast. Europe and the Orient were opposite poles in a system of civilisational values which were defined by Europe (Delanty, 1995: 84). Delanty s comment here explicitly depicts a binary opposition as the West is constantly trying to contrast itself to the East. The Western ideology is located through the film s protagonist Aladdin. Aladdin embodies the Western dream in his rags to riches story. He believes he can make something of himself and be a figure of importance, an ideology which is seen as an aim in many Western societies. Aladdin s ideology of a life where he can be treated equally contrasts Jafar s Eastern ideology that he can rise to power , and possess dominant control. Jafar s attempt to rise to power is symbolic of the West s fear of Eastern control, and inevitably Jafar/ the East must be stopped. In order to enable the removal of the Eastern oriental figure and at the same time appeal to the audience, the Eastern ideology is negatively constructed; shown within the final scenes to prove Jafar s antagonism. He is seen raising his hand to hit female protagonist Jasmine (1:12:20 1:12:40), an act condemned by

The term white collar is define as of or relating to the work done or those who work in an office or other professional environment. It was coined by the late great Edwin Sutherland in 1941. However, when members of Congress such as Tom Foley, who served as a Representative from 1964 through 1995, and Jack Brooks, who served as a Representative from 1952 through 1994, remain in the legislative system for over forty years, it is evident that tyranny has not necessarily been eradicated from the United States (Vance, 1994, p. 429). Almost certainly not, as they had one huge problem, their inability to keep their armoured columns supplied with fuel. Any form of armoured attack needed a constant supply of fuel, and Allied bombing of fuel plants in Germany meant that such supplies did not exist. For Adolf Hitler, the battle marked the end of eight years of offensive maneuvers in the West, large and small, dating back to his occupation of the Rhineland.
