The students in Room 18 were asked what they would like their classroom to look like. Several students suggested adding toy vehicles, pictures of animals, and My Little Ponies to play with during math time. Other students proposed including a tent, couch, and soft toys to encourage reading, watching TV, and creative play at the end of the day.

that go around in circles.
We could play with them at
maths choosing time.”
“I like cars -cars and
there is trucks and tow
trucks” said Liam.

3. “ I would like a picture of a pony in the
classroom” Kathryn said.
Sienna would like a picture of a kitten
on the wall because they look cute.
Emily would like a picture
of a dog on the wall.

4. “I would like some my little ponies to play
with at maths time. I would count them”
said Sammy.
“We could get a tent in our classroom to
read in” said Ben

5. Jack would like a TV in the
classroom to watch at the end of
the day.
Olivia would like a couch so
when we were watching TV we
could sit on it.

6. Lucas would like some soft toys so he
could make houses for them. Ashley
would build a ramp for them.
Olivia said “we could hug them if we are
listening to a scary story.”
