Metaphor is one of the most broadly used literary device. It refers to a meaning or identity explained to one subject by way of another. Metaphor is used to compare two unlike things by saying that one is the other. It is defined as part of speech that tells a subject by claiming that it is, on some point of comparison, the same as another, otherwise unrelated object.
