The STaR-CHART is an online survey that teachers complete annually to evaluate a school district's progress towards technology goals and improving student learning through technology. The survey data is used by campus, district, and state personnel to measure efforts in meeting federal education technology standards. Teachers assign scores from 1 to 4 in categories like teaching and learning or infrastructure to assess their school's level of technology integration from early to target. Schools can then use the information to identify strengths, weaknesses, and work towards achieving target status in all categories through collaborative efforts.
