2. Come and Enjoy our Learn to Swim Pro-
gram for beginners in which you get to
learn how to swim, how to be safe around
water environments and surf life saving
skills. This Program is split into two, a kids
program in which they get to learn pool
smart and open water safety and an adults
program in which you get to learn how to
swim and open water swimming. This pro-
gram is a fun fit program where you get to
socialize with others but learn water
smart skills. For this program you don't
need to know anything about how to
swim as you will learn in this program. If
you already swim you can still come along
as there will be two instructors in which
we can maximize your full potential. The
Swim Program is held at the Wentworth
Point Aquatic Centre and might have
some excursions to the beach for surf life
saving skills. Kids programs is aged for 6-
13 while the adult program is aged 20-40

Wentworth Community Centre Programs
Are you a dog lover or want to learn more about
the canine species, then come and join this pro-
grams and learn about the responsibility of looking
after a pet. This program allows you to bond with
both dogs and people of the community in which
you get to take care of dogs from all different
breeds. You will have the amazing chance to feed,
wash, walk and play with the dogs as well has put-
ting them to bed. For this program all you need to
know or have is a passion for dogs or is willing to
learn and commit to this program. This program is
held near the leisure center and nature reserve
where we have our own dog park for you to enjoy
this fulfilling experience and learn more about
yourself. If you are under the age of 16 you must
have parental supervision otherwise come and join
this program for any other ages and learn some-
thing every hour! The cost of the program in-
cludes food for the dogs and all their personal
needs. Cost to become a member: $50 per
month

Cost: $15 per lesson

Do you know how to work the commuter or
your own phone? Want to learn, then come and
participate in the Senior Technology Program.
This program allows you to learn more about
modern technology and how you can make the
best of it. For this program you can either be a
first timer or you can come along to learn more
skills and tricks. This programs offers you to so-
cialize with others while learning about technolo-
gy as well as having fun and enjoying yourself.
The people that run the program are volunteers
and enjoy passing on their knowledge to others in
which you can pass down to your children or
even grandchildren. The age limit on this program
is 50 and above but we sometimes allow parents
to also come and learn about the technology their
children are using and how to make sure they are
being safe on the internet. This program is goes
for and hour and a half and you can bring your
own device or we also supply some spares.
Cost: $10 per lesson or get a discount for
$30 a month
