This document presents information on the spiral approach to teaching social science. The spiral approach aims to foster continuous learning of social science concepts through different educational stages. Students in primary classes begin developing simple generalizations about everyday human activities. The approach involves revisiting topics at higher levels of complexity as students advance in their education. While the spiral approach could make social science more interesting by relating it to students' lives, it may be difficult to initially present problems in their totality with all relevant details when using this method.
