Teachers must consider how the digital skills and experiences of today's students will impact teaching approaches and responsibilities. Specifically, today's students, known as "digital natives," are fluent in technologies like computers, video games, and the internet in a way that was unfamiliar to previous generations of "digital immigrants." This shift challenges teachers to thoughtfully integrate relevant technologies into their lessons in a way that leverages students' digital expertise while meeting curriculum needs.
