This document discusses mixed media and reassembling techniques for self-expression, including: 1. Printing an image onto paper and acetate and collaging over the paper version. 2. Image transferring a photo onto a collage background. 3. Collaging on top of a print using found papers, paint, ink, and re-adding details. 4. Stitching back into an image to emphasize key details or ideas. 5. Cutting up an image and reassembling it, mixing with collage and adding a glossy top coat.

9. Mixed media and reassembling is all about self
expression and ‘playing’ with the media. You could:
1.Print your image onto paper and acetate. Collage
over the paper version and lay your acetate on top.
2.Image transfer your image onto a collage
background.
3.Collage on top of a print using found papers, add
paint, ink, and one to add back in any details you
choose.
4.Stitch back into your image, emphasising key
details or ideas
5.Cut your image up and reassemble it, you could do
this mixing with collage and adding a mod podge
gloss over the top.

screen and re-photograph or consider sticking bright coloured backing paper behind your
