Website research findings
We learned a lot from our website research. One of the main things being that the site has
to be easy to navigate, this is achieved mainly through the use of a link bar and search bar at
the top of the screen, these effectively let the audience find exactly what they are looking
for and will avoid any frustration caused by not being able to do so. Another major thing for
us is the use of a logo in the top left, this instantly creates a feeling of familiarity in our
campaign brand and helps spread the word to others. Something we learned that was fairly
necessary is to include images to break the page up and stop it from being boring for the
audience to look at, this is something we feel very strongly about and is the reason we are
going to avoid large chunks of text, which may confuse the audience and bore them, the
same being said for cluttered layouts which just confuse and frustrate people who need
help. All in all we want to create a simple, easy to understand site, that can be swiftly
navigated to find what the audience is looking for, grabbing their attention with colours and
images that represent our campaign and help we can offer, and we know that our website
research has helped us to build this view and understand what we want to achieve.
