This document provides instructions for a two-day webquest on multiple intelligences for 3rd and 4th grade students. On the first day, students will take an online test to determine their top three multiple intelligences and research what those intelligences are. On the second day, students will work in groups of three to create a Venn diagram comparing their results. Each student's understanding will be evaluated using a rubric. The goal is to help students recognize their various types of intelligence.

2. Introduction
Have you ever thought about in how many
different ways you are intelligent or smart? Well
During this Webquest you are going to discover
that there is more than one area in which you
are intelligent!

3. Task
During this activity I will require you to research
the different types of multiple intelligences as
well as take a test to determine which ones are
your most dominant. You will be working on your
own for the research part. Once you have
completed that part of the research, you will
need to get in groups of 3 and compare your
answers. You will need to make a ven diagram
to show similarities or differences.

5. Process
To begin you will need to take a multiple intelligence test (links
provided under resources). Once you have completed those,
your results will be given to you and you will choose your top 3
and research what those intelligences are. Once you have
completed your research, you will get in groups of 3 and create a
ven diagram (example under resources).
Groups will be chosen by the teacher and they will create one
diagram but each student will have to collaborate by adding
his/her information.
The web quest is going to take 2 days to complete, 1 day for
individual research and 1 for whole group collaboration.

6. Evaluation
Each student will be evaluated individually. A
rubric sample has been provided under
“resources”. Each of you will be observed and
asked questions in random to check for
understanding.

7. Conclusion
Congratulations for having completed this
assignment! I hope that this assignment made
you aware that you are intelligent/smart in so
many ways. This assignment will help you in the
future because by knowing in what things you
are intelligent, you will be able to apply that
knowledge when learning other things.
