- The notion that you don't develop mobile apps because it is too expensive is the wrong way to look at things. Not developing a mobile app is what is expensive. If you are an employee making $120K a year and you delay an app for a month and don't increase his productivity by 10 percent, that opportunity cost to your company is $1,000….Imagine if it is six months and a thousand employees.
