This document summarizes a water purification system called the Aqua-ReactorTM. It can purify highly contaminated waste water, such as from fracking operations, to drinking water standards without producing secondary waste. The system combines existing technologies in a novel way. Specifically, it uses the Aqua-ReactorTM as a pre-treatment step to allow downstream components to work more efficiently.
