Drinking just one 12-ounce soda a day may increase the risk of
Type 2 diabetes, a new study from Europe suggests.
In the study, people who drank a 12-ounce sugar-sweetened
soda daily were 18 percent more likely to develop Type 2
diabetes over a 16-year period compared with those who did
not consume soda. And people who drank two sodas daily were
18 percent more likely to have a stroke than those who drank
one; those who drank three sodas daily saw the same risk
increase compared with those who drank two, and so on.

The results held even after the researchers took into account
risk factors for Type 2 diabetes such as age and physical
activity levels, body mass index (BMI) and the total daily
calorie intake.
The findings agree with earlier studies in the United States,
which found daily soda consumption increased the risk of Type
2 diabetes by 25 percent.
However, the study found only an association, and cannot
prove soda consumption causes Type 2 diabetes. It's possible
other factors not accounted for by the study influenced the
disease risk. In addition, participants answered questions
about their diet just once at the study's start, and it's possible
they changed their diets over time, the researchers said.

The researchers analyzed information from about 12,000
people who developed Type 2 diabetes between 1991 and 2007,
and a randomly selected group of about 15,000 people, most of
whom did not develop diabetes. All participants were taking
part in a larger study looking into the interaction between diet,
environmental factors and the risk of cancer and chronic
diseases conducted in eight European countries.
People who drank one or more glasses of sugar-sweetened
soda a day were about 30 percent more likely to develop Type
2 diabetes than those who drank less than one glass a month.
Because the link between sugar-sweetened soda and Type 2
diabetes was independent of BMI (an indicator of obesity
level) and calorie intake, this finding suggests that other
factors, such as the spike in blood sugar people experience
when they drink soda, may play a role in the risk, the
researchers said.

Company Name and its Significance
A company name should be distinctive, extendable, and easy to identify and pronounce, and also provide an idea of the products offered by the company (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman & Bamford, 2017). The company name which I have chosen is KoolSprings Water Company. The significance of the name KoolSprings Water Company is that it gives an identity of the company and what it will do for business. The company will be focused on providing drinking water to the market and therefore choosing the name KoolSprings Water Company is ideal for the business. The name is also self explanatory of what the company activities are and therefore it is important because customers will be able to easily identify it.
Beverage to be produced
The company will be packaging non-alcoholic beverage which is bottled water for its customers. The product is ideal for the company to produce because it has a ready market as customers buy drinking water each and every time. The key ingredient for the product is simply water. Most people prefer pure bottled drinking water without any added ingredients and this is the main product to be packaged. Also there will be vitamin bottled water where the pure drinking water will be added some flavors to it. The flavors which will be added are lemonade and mixed berries which will include strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Lemonade flavor is one of the most preferred water products during the summer period while mixed berries water is one of the well balanced water flavors which can be produced.

It will define the values of the company, culture, plan, essential goals and also ethics (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman & Bamford, 2017). For many years they have been providing millions of people with healthy information and tips to stay healthy. Their team works hard to help people feel good about themselves. You can trust this website because they have helped a lot of people for many of years. What: the information proved is trustworthy and I found it very educational. I found out things that I did not even know about. I give this website a 10 for reliability because I can tell the people that made this website, worked hard to give out helpful information to people. Nothing seemed questionable or untrue. I would trust this website. Reasons for low grade: The reliability is not evaluated. If somebody "works hard" or "helped a lot of people", it does not mean that the information they provide is reliable. Statements (such as "the information proved is trustworthy") are not supported by evidence. The author should rather answer such questions as "How do you know they are trustworthy?", "What are your criteria for "questionable?". The evaluation is vague, the URL is missing. Company Name and its Significance
A company name should be distinctive, extendable, and easy to identify and pronounce, and also provide an idea of the products offered by the company (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman & Bamford, 2017). The company name which I have chosen is KoolSprings Water Company. The significance of the name KoolSprings Water Company is that it gives an identity of the company and what it will do for business. The company will be focused on providing drinking water to the market and therefore choosing the name KoolSprings Water Company is ideal for the business. The name is also self explanatory of what the company activities are and therefore it is important because customers will be able to easily identify it.
Beverage to be produced
The company will be packaging non-alcoholic beverage which is bottled water for its customers. The product is ideal for the company to produce because it has a ready market as customers buy drinking water each and every time. The key ingredient for the product is simply water. Most people prefer pure bottled drinking water without any added ingredients and this is the main product to be packaged. Also there will be vitamin bottled water where the pure drinking water will be added some flavors to it. The flavors which will be added are lemonade and mixed berries which will include strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Lemonade flavor is one of the most preferred water products during the summer period while mixed berries water is one of the well balanced water flavors which can be produced.

It will define the values of the company, culture, plan, essential goals and also ethics (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman & Bamford, 2017). In 2019, consumer wellness and health has increased which has created a lot of impact in the beverage industry at large. Studies by UCL indicate that 36% of people aged between 16-24 years are now abstaining from alcohol ("More young people abstaining from alcohol, and others drinking less", 2019). I would trust this website. Reasons for low grade: The reliability is not evaluated. If somebody "works hard" or "helped a lot of people", it does not mean that the information they provide is reliable. Statements (such as "the information proved is trustworthy") are not supported by evidence. The author should rather answer such questions as "How do you know they are trustworthy?", "What are your criteria for "questionable?". The evaluation is vague, the URL is missing. Dandelion Hashtable: beyond billion requests per second on a commodity server
This slide deck presents DLHT, a concurrent in-memory hashtable. Despite efforts to optimize hashtables, that go as far as sacrificing core functionality, state-of-the-art designs still incur multiple memory accesses per request and block request processing in three cases. First, most hashtables block while waiting for data to be retrieved from memory. Second, open-addressing designs, which represent the current state-of-the-art, either cannot free index slots on deletes or must block all requests to do so. Third, index resizes block every request until all objects are copied to the new index. Defying folklore wisdom, DLHT forgoes open-addressing and adopts a fully-featured and memory-aware closed-addressing design based on bounded cache-line-chaining. This design offers lock-free index operations and deletes that free slots instantly, (2) completes most requests with a single memory access, (3) utilizes software prefetching to hide memory latencies, and (4) employs a novel non-blocking and parallel resizing. In a commodity server and a memory-resident workload, DLHT surpasses 1.6B requests per second and provides 3.5x (12x) the throughput of the state-of-the-art closed-addressing (open-addressing) resizable hashtable on Gets (Deletes).

However due to the limited type of data presented, primarily professional opinion without documentation, I would not use it as research source.
