 Strengthen literacy and numeracy skills
 Improve skills in using information and
communication technologies as learning tools
 Map current skills in relation to goals
 Think creatively to solve problems or develop ideas

5. Assess Personal and Learning Goals
 Define strategies to achieve your goals
 Learn planning and organization skills, especially
those pertaining to your goals.
 Learn which information is helpful in planning goals,
and how to use this information

6. Reflect and Refine Goals
 As time passes, use feedback as a means for
development and improvement for learning.
 Monitor goals frequently
 Reflect on what you have learned and how you can
demonstrate newly acquired skills
