The children in the park couldn't understand each other because they spoke different languages. They tried to decide how to play but were confused by the language barriers. However, they realized they could understand the sounds of nature like birds and dogs. They discovered they could communicate and play together through shared sounds across languages. They were excited to play together despite their different spoken languages.
