3. Purpose The purpose of this experiment is I want to find out that will the waterwheel do? ,will it lift something up by water ,or not .So I ‘ve did this experiment to find out this question.
4. Material A big plastic bottle Wooden stick Two cork 25cm long string Blue tag Water Tape Scissor Cutter
5. Procedure First you cut the bottle in three parts, top part, middle part and bottom part. Then cut 8 lines on the cork equally and cut 4 stripes of 2cm wide from the middle part of the bottle. After that cut each stripe into half and stuff each stripe into the lines in the cork Poke 1 holes in 2 side, just below the rim on the bottom part. Cut the wooden sticks to half put it through the hole and push into the end of the cork you have just made. Put the second cork on one of the sticks. Use the string to tie a not on the cork and put the clay on the end of the string.
6. Observation In this experiment I saw that sometimes the string will ran out of the cork and went to the stick when the string is turning, but sometimes not, sometimes it would stay on it. It is so weird.
7. Conclusion After doing this experiment I know that water can lift up thing, but if you need to lift it high, you will need to use load of water to lift it up.
