1. SEAWATER – It contains plenty of
salt. It is found on the seas and
oceans. Seawater is also called as
hard water.

water. Unlike the seawater, it does not contain
salt. This is found in open and small bodies of
water like rivers, lakes, creeks, and ponds. Surface
water comes from the rain. Rainwater flows from
the land into streams and rivers. In cold countries
it also comes from snow.

surface . It comes from water that seeps from
into the ground. Groundwater is safe source of
water. It is considered the cleanest water and
contains plenty of dissolve minerals which the
