This presentation discusses walk and charge (WnC) technology, which generates electricity from the kinetic energy of walking. It introduces Sourav Sahoo, the presenter, and provides an outline of the presentation contents, which include techniques of WnC, WnC-enabled footwear, statistics on energy production, large-scale implementations, applications, advantages and disadvantages, and references. The presentation provides an overview of walk and charge technology for generating electricity from walking kinetic energy and its potential implementations and applications.

The power storage module includes the components parameters responsible for the restoration of energy to the battery after it has been used to charge mobile phones. There is connecting port between the power bank power storage and charging module and the phone charging module through which it can be connected in order to recharge phones as well as to recharge the power bank from an AC source. Dermatologists always advise wearing high-SPF sunscreen to keep UVA and UVB rays from penetrating the cells. These are said to cause sunburn, premature deterioration, and genetic damage (all of which manifest as photoaging, hyperpigmentation, wrinkle formation, sunburn, sagging, and dryness).
With increased competitiveness in power generation industries, more resources are directed in optimizing plant operation, including fault detection and diagnosis. One of the most powerful tools in faults detection and diagnosis is artificial intelligence AI . Faults should be detected early so correct mitigation measures can be taken, whilst false alarms should be eschewed to avoid unnecessary interruption and downtime. For the last few decades there has been major interest towards intelligent condition monitoring system ICMS application in power plant especially with AI development particularly in artificial neural network ANN . ANN is based on quite simple principles, but takes advantage of their mathematical nature, non linear iteration to demonstrate powerful problem solving ability. Complex problems are not obstacles, they are a place to start. By working on some of the country’s most prestigious projects, our employees find fresh approaches to fundamental problems and solve unseen challenges every day.
A universal challenge facing the development of electrochemical materials is our lack of understanding of physical and chemical processes at local length scales in 10-100 nm regime, and acquiring this understanding requires a new generation of imaging techniques that can resolve local chemistry and fast dynamics in electrochemical materials at the time and length scales relevant to strongly coupled reaction and transport phenomena. In this article, we introduce the scanning thermo-ionic microscopy (STIM) technique for probing local electrochemistry at the nanoscale, utilizing Vegard strain induced via thermal stress excitations for imaging. We have implemented this technique using both resistive heating through a microfabricated AFM thermal probe, as well as photo-thermal heating through a 405 nm laser, and have applied it to a variety of electrochemical materials. The dynamics of ionic motion can be captured from point-wise spectroscopy studies, while the spatial inhomogeneity can be revealed by STIM mapping. Since it utilizes thermal stress-induced oscillation as its driving force, the responses are insensitive to the electromechanical, electrostatic, and capacitive effects, and is immune to global current perturbation, making in-operando testing possible. In principle, STIM can provide a powerful tool for probing local electrochemical functionalities at the nanoscale.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).
