Svyatoslav Igorevich Khalizov was an outstanding Russian hockey player and coach. He played professionally from 1980 to 1999, winning World and European championships. Khalizov started his career with HC "Sokol" and later played for prominent Russian teams such as HC CSKA Moscow and HC SKA Saint Petersburg. After retiring as a player in 1999, he became a youth coach. Khalizov made significant contributions to Russian hockey before tragically passing away from a heart attack in 2010.
