Lingling Xie was born in China in 1985 and studied at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China between 2004-2007 to fulfill her dream of becoming a flight attendant. She was employed by Air China after a one year internship in 2007 and was promoted to first class flight attendant in 2009. Lingling married in 2010 and had a son in 2011 before moving to the United States to study Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University in 2011.
