Perception Index, down from 72 last year
China ranks above India at 72 rank

Corruption affects the poor the most
 Rs. 883 crore was paid as bribe by people BPL in
an year in India
 Poorest household paid Rs.215 crore to police as
bribe

7. Corruption in the Trucking Operation in India
 One truck pays an average Re.0.70 per Km as bribe
 Truck operation business has to shell as high as
Rs.11198 cr a year as bribe
= Rs.933 cr per month
= Rs.31 cr per day
