This exhibit from the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center highlights murals created by four Chicana artists - Judy Baca, Judith Hernandez, Barbara Carrasco, and Yreina Cervantez. It explores how their murals portray the experiences of Chicanas and emphasize themes of female empowerment. The exhibit uses an easy to navigate slideshow format with audio clips from the artists. It effectively shares the backgrounds of the artists and analyzes how their collaborative works brought greater recognition to Chicana muralists.
