On December 8, 2011 a gunman entered Campus, and shot and
killed two people, himself and a police officer
The man was not a Virginia Tech student
Crouse had a vehicle stopped in a campus parking lot when he
was approached a man and fatally shot while still in his car

On Monday April 16, 2007 from approximately 7:15am-9: 51am,
we lost 32 innocent people here on campus

Most of the massacre took place in Norris hall (30 of 32 people
were shot there, the rest were shot in West Ambler Johnston Hall

The following are ways that will help the community at this university
incase of an another emergency:
 Improve security
 Offer workshops to help students and faculty feel safe,
have therapist as well 24/7 whenever a student needs to
talk to someone.
 Monthly drills for the students so they are prepared incase
of another shooting.
