The anthropological literature tackling the topic of romantic love concerns possible factors that
make love an integral part of general social structure and marriage in certain societies, such as
modes of subsistence dependence, sexual equality and post marital residence rules.
One cannot overstate the significance that lies in understanding the relationship between love and
marriage, as both are critical elements of humanity. Understanding love as a functioning agent in
maintaining marital stability allows us to better understand an important part of who we are as
humans. Hence, as a basic building block of human social structure, romantic В·love and its role in
the maintenance of society is an incredibly important area of research.
Much of the anthropological community agrees that romantic love does constitute a valid area of
research, and hopes to repair the general oversight of love that occurred in earlier ethnographic
work (Jankowiak
1992 and Fischer 1992).
In order to analyze the relationship between romantic love and marriage, it is necessary to compare

Digital radiography (DR) is a revolutionary invention in radiography. With this technology, no
cassette is needed for an x ray examination meaning that there is no need to reload films or to erase
imaging plate in every examination. This is a distinctive feature which conventional radiography
and computed radiography(CR) do not have. DR was first introduced in 1996 (Carroll, 2011).
Miniature electronic x raydetectors are used as the image receptor. The detectors enable the direct
capture of the x ray image without conversion steps (like the conversion of x ray photos into
light photons). This technology is widely used nowadays since it has many advantages and it
brings much convenience to radiographers. One of the main advantages of DR is image post

On June 10th, 1991, eleven year old Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped, while walking to her bus
stop, by Phillip and Nancy Garrido. After using a stun gun and dragging her into their car, the

several rundown buildings in the Garrido s backyard for eighteen long years. It was during that

My Experience In My First Day Of College
It was a warm and sunny day, I was able to sleep until eleven o clock in the mooring. I woke up
got dressed and attended my first college class. Walking across campus, I saw familiar faces
from freshman orientation back in June. I felt comfortable starting my first day of college. I
told myself that this was a new chapter in my life, and I wanted to make something special of it.

SIMULATION REPORT The objective of the project was to trade on a Market Simulation
STOCK TRACK , from 2/13 to 4/20. We were supposed to try to trade different types of
instruments in order to gain more knowledge about they are trade in the real world; and how a
strategy which seems good can be overturned by the market circumstances.
During this period as a conservative, I tried to trade less risky instruments. The qualities that I used

my choice was only guided by their high P/E ratio. In order to protect my portfolio against the
changes in prices, I took a couple options. At first, I try to use some put option on Apple and
Google to protect my portfolio against their change in prices. But as I was new in the use of
options, it had a worst effect on my portfolio. Thus, I sold them and I decided to use a call and put
parity on Google, Apple and IBM. And it helps reduce the negative return I had after the stock
slump to 1.49%. During the simulation, I also bought a bond but I sold it when the interest rate
fell. I also bought some futures on gold because the price of gold is increasing actually. Using all
these pseudo strategies help me to maintain my portfolio value higher than $982,678 with a
slight to increase until the stock slump in April. In fact, the fall of the stock had a great impact
on my portfolio and in order to protect myself against this impact I tried to use different option
strategies and sold some of my stocks in order to go above $982,678 at least. This reaction of my
portfolio shows how the systematic risk can affect a portfolio rudely and how it is difficult to
protect a portfolio against these types of risks. In summary, this simulation allowed me to know
about the importance of portfolio allocation. It also helped me to understand the use of the P/E
ratio in market selection. And it showed me when and how to use option and future in a portfolio.
