In today’s advanced world, where the gap between the appearance of villages and
cities has been constantly narrowing, comparison of the advantages of both lifestyles
should come as no surprise. Whereas countryside is preferred by a section of
population, cities also suit to a remarkable proportion of the nation. I believe that
selection of a place to live in mainly depends on an individual’s circumstances.

The fact is that countryside is less polluted. The impact of this factor can be directly
resulted in people’s better health that not only saves lives, but also unnecessary
investment. If the saved resources are shifted to other sectors such as education, the
number of skilled inhabitants, who are known as the dynamic power of a village’s
development, increases.

It cannot be denied that urban lifestyle also has its own merits. Take various and
extremely numerous job opportunities for example, which are exceptionally available
in conurbations. Given that, the enhancement and improvement of infrastructure of a
country is highly likely, since it is intertwined with the availability of employment.

Personally, I have been benefiting from living in the town where the presence of
different facilities have effectively contributed to my development in terms of
obtaining quality education, enjoying fitness, and entertainment not to mention
building of a helpful social network. If I have children of my own, I will bring them
up in the metropolis to ensure they have access to various services available there to
develop their personality.

As has been discussed, while the rural life appeals to a large number of populations, it
cannot compete with the attraction of a city bright lights.
