Aix skills :
 Migrated AIX servers from version 5.3 to AIX6.1 by nimadm procedure using NIM.

2.  Installing the OS patches and upgrading TL,SP levels as per the requirements.
 Mirroring the rootvg of AIX server.
 Fixing booting related issues, booting the server in maintenance mode, fixing any
rootvg file system issues by running fsck etc.
 Fixing mount issues, checking file system integrity, running fsck in maintenance
mode on rootvg logical volumes if any corrupted lv’s in rootvg.
 Designing and managing disk space using AIX logical Volume management.
 Checking the error reports in the servers.
 Configured Ethernet channel for network redundancy on AIX servers
 Setting up NFS servers,exporting shares to clients and performing NFS mounts.
 Diagnosing hardware issues such as Disks and other hot swap devices and replacing
if faulty.
 Performance monitoring and parameter tunning if required.
