1. Lavarone
Lavarone is a small village in Trentino Alto-Adige, a region in the North of Italy. It is
located on a plateau on a Valley called Val d’Astico. The plateau borders with other two
villages: Luserna and Folgaria. In Luserna people speak a language called “Cimbro”.
These three villages with Altopiano della Vigolana form the “Altipiani Cimbri”.

2. Lavarone lake
The lake is located in Lavarone Chiesa. It is a major tourist attraction. There are many
legends regarding the lake.
Various sports are practiced here, like rowing and swimming. It was awarded with the
Blue Flag in 2021 for its clear water. It is also popular in winter, when it transforms into a
mirror of ice perfect for skating.

3. The ski slopes of Lavarone
The slopes of Lavarone are a real tourist attraction. During the winter it is mandatory to go
skiing at least once. The slopes are in Bertoldi (a hamlet of Lavarone) and in Vezzena.

4. School
There are about fifty students and ten teachers in our middle school.
Next to our school building there is the primary school and the kindergarten.
In front of our school there is a big playground.

5. There is a big school canteen and we eat there when we have afternoon activities.
There are different laboratories: I.T., Art, Music, science, foreign languages.
There is a big school gym.

8. Subjects
At school we study Technology, Math, Italian, English, P.E., Geography, History, Science,
Geography Clil, German, Art Clil, Music, Art and Religion.
School starts at five to eight.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the school finishes at four o’clock.
On Tuesday and Thursday it finishes at half past twelve.
