Ever want to learn what it’s really like to make a game from start to nish? Here’s your chance! Our premier game
development program is what started it all, and we remain committed to showing you the reality of what it takes
to succeed in the video game industry. We’ll take you through every step of the game development process, from
initial concept to eshing out mechanics and shipping the nal product. You’ll hear stories from professional
game developers about the hardships and creative victories of the development process, and by the end, you’ll
know whether or not this is the career for you.
In this program, the student will
Pedagogy
Our programs stress hands-on learning and real-world exposure through team projects conducted under the
guidance of industry professionals. Our learning model builds con dence and teamwork skills as students learn to
work together to create something unique they can call their own.
Projects
Team up with your fellow students to form your own indie game company, then brainstorm and develop your
game using pre-built game environments. Play your role on the team as you simulate the real-life professional
process of game development. You will end the camp with your very own playable game and a clear sense of what
it takes to succeed in the industry.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Understand how to concept and scope a small project.
Learn basic 3D modeling with Maya.
Develop your own 3D environments with Unity.
Learn basic C# coding.
Develop teamwork and development skills through a group project.
Learn animation theory and the feeling of movements.
Learn level design concepts and how to build an engaging experience.
