VerbalizeIt evaluates and grades all tasks completed on the VerbalizeIt platform from 1-5
stars, based on pre-defined measures of quality.
5 star is deemed STANDARD.
Submitted with no changes/ feedback.
TASK APPROVED AS IS
4 star represents STRONG work- only minor
improvements needed to ensure translation best
practices. TASK ACCEPTED FOR IMPROVEMENT

3 star is ACCEPTABLE work- Work is useful, but has
several minor mistakes needing revision.
TASK ACCEPTED FOR IMPROVEMENT
2 star is DEFICIENT: Work is somewhat useful, but a lot of minor and major
errors are made, requiring part, if not all, of the translation to be completely
redone. TASK FAILED
1 star is MINIMAL: Several major mistakes throughout the work. Use of
Google translate, multiple styles and misspelling/misuse of words are
reflected. Only way to salvage 1-star work is by re-doing it. TASK FAILED

Submitted with no changes/ feedback. TASK APPROVED AS IS 4 star represents STRONG work- only minor improvements needed to ensure translation best practices. TASK ACCEPTED FOR IMPROVEMENT 3 star is ACCEPTABLE work- Work is useful, but has several minor mistakes needing revision. TASK ACCEPTED FOR IMPROVEMENT 2 star is DEFICIENT: Work is somewhat useful, but a lot of minor and major errors are made, requiring part, if not all, of the translation to be completely redone. TASK FAILED 1 star is MINIMAL: Several major mistakes throughout the work. Use of Google translate, multiple styles and misspelling/misuse of words are reflected.
