currently attached power lines, communication lines, connection devices like transformers, lights,
capacitors, guys, cross arms, and arrestors) and proposed loads (additional load of Google fiber

to poles in work area has been obtained from Utility. The analysis has been done using Utility
approved SPIDA software. It is assumed that utility pole foundation and surrounding soil have
sufficient capacity to support resulting forces from the analysis. The anchors are assumed to have
sufficient soil interaction to achieve the pull out strength provided to Bechtel Infrastructure and
Power Corporation by Utility.

The pole loading analysis has been performed on the basis of field data obtained by Bechtel Infrastructure and Power Corporation for the pole geometry, material, existing loading (loads from currently attached power lines, communication lines, connection devices like transformers, lights, capacitors, guys, cross arms, and arrestors) and proposed loads (additional load of Google fiber and devices required for installation of Google fiber). The wind and ice loading data as applicable to poles in work area has been obtained from Utility. The analysis has been done using Utility approved SPIDA software. It is assumed that utility pole foundation and surrounding soil have sufficient capacity to support resulting forces from the analysis. The anchors are assumed to have sufficient soil interaction to achieve the pull out strength provided to Bechtel Infrastructure and Power Corporation by Utility. As part of their PLP, nearly 1.5 million poles, from one to 100 years old, support Southern California Edison’s distribution grid. Approximately 70% of these poles also support other electric and telecommunications utility equipment, which adds weight, or load, in addition to SCE’s lines. Although design specifications are in place to prevent poles from becoming overloaded, some poles have been identified as not meeting minimum requirements as established by SCE’s regulators. PSE was looking the redrafting of their Gas network and field data capture / verification of the entire overhead network and underground network as per the business rules. Infotech required to deliver the final data in PSE’s Smallworld EO environment. Enexis wanted to outsource the management of their legacy database and approached Infotech in view of their expertise in data cleanup, conversion and migration activities. As part of this plan, Enexis was looking to have their AutoCAD data cleaned up and updated into Smallworld format online without disrupting their day-to-day transactions. The technologies used were GEN (Smallworld 4.0-based GIS system) and AutoCAD. He was responsible for systems study and design, process review, process refinement and improvement, deliveries and quality parameters. This was a project for Australia Government Geosciences, Australia. The objective of the project was revision of the existing large-scale mapping data with a scale of 1:25,000 for the South-East South Australia (SESA) work package by using SPOT 2.5-meter resolution satellite imageries, National Topographic Map Series (NTMS) 100 K imageries, and other reference material. The digital mapping updated and collection was required in heads-up digitization method. Role: PROJECT LEADER Cyient Project # 8 (Saudi Aramco Project) Customer: Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia Location: Infotech Enterprises Limited, Hyderabad, India Duration: 10 months Team Size: 20 Software: Microstation SE, Arc map 9.1, Arc Catalog, and ArcSDE Description: Saudi Aramco is a major petroleum company in Saudi Arabia. Since 90’s, Aramco has been maintaining their facility information (water, sewer, and storm drain) utilizing the AM/FM/GIS application based on Intergraph FRAMME technology. The limitation of this system was that it was based on an obsolete technology; the data was not updated in a systematic manner, and data integrity was an issue. So, the objective of this project was to migrate the AM/FM system from the legacy FRAMME to ARCFM to better their day-to-day operations. Role: PRE-PROJECT LEADER

The objective of the project was to create landbase and water network data for the areas served by Pidpa. This was a part of the development of a global water policy wherein Pidpa wanted to convert/migrate all the existing raster data (TIFF) into ArcFM GIS system. Infotech was assigned the task of conversion / migration and thereafter, porting the created / updated data onto GIS system of Pidpa.
