3. The Vedas are considered to be one of the most sacred
scriptures of the Hindu religion. They are claimed to be
among the world’s oldest scriptures. Veda is said to be the
treasure vault to wisdom and knowledge. It is noted that
Vedas are eternal and vibrate in the outer dimensions of the
world of Brahmans.
They are said to be the point of creation. The term ‘Veda’ means
knowledge, which is the ulterior idea of the existence of
humanity. Vedas manifest the cause, function, and response of
human existence in a way that promotes liberation or Nirvana.
They are concerned with the nature of the Divine and are not
restricted to one particular God or idea. Ancient sages believed that
the concept of ‘Vedas’ has always existed and is beyond the idea of
time. The Vedas were usually orally passed down from one
generation to the other until they were written on record between
1500c to 500 BCE, the so-called Vedic Period of India.

5. Rigveda is regarded as one of the
most sacred texts of Hinduism. It has
fascinated scholars and historians
due to its significance and antiquity. It
is a collection of ancient Indian
collection of Vedic Sanskrit hymns.
•The Rigveda is divided into
ten books which are known
as Mandalas
•It is a collection of 10,600
verses and 1,028 hymns
•It is the oldest text in any
Indo-European language
•It has originated from early
as 1700 BC
According to tradition, Vyasa is the compiler of the Vedas, who arranged the
four kinds of mantras into four Samhitas (Collections).
6. The Atharva
Veda (Sanskrit: अथर्वर्ेदः, Atharvavedaḥ f
rom atharvāṇas and veda, meaning
"knowledge") is the "knowledge
storehouse of atharvāṇas, the
procedures for everyday life“. The text is
the fourth Veda, and is a late addition to
the Vedic scriptures of Hinduism.[
The Atharvaveda is a sacred text of
Hinduism and one of the four Vedas,
often called the "fourth Veda". According
to tradition, the Atharvaveda was mainly
composed by two groups of rishis known
as the Atharvanas and the Angirasa. In
the Late Vedic Gopatha Brahmana, it is
attributed to the Bhrigu and Angirasa.
The other three Vedas deal with matters of other world, the
gods, nature, and the supernatural, while Atharva Veda is more
worldly. It seeks to solve the problems of this world and its
common people. It deals with a topic like leading a long and
healthy life, to avoid sorrow, to ward off illness, to vanquish or
win over the enemy, et
7. The Samaveda (Sanskrit: सामर्ेद, romanize
d: sāmaveda, from sāman "song"
and veda "knowledge"), is the Veda of
melodies and chants
Sama Veda" is an ancient Hindu
scripture and one of the four
main Vedas of Hinduism. It is a
collection of melodies and chants, and is
also called the "Book of Song," "Veda of
Chants" or even "Yoga of Song." It is
basically the words of the "Rig Veda"
put to music
8. The Yajurveda (Sanskrit: यजुर्ेद, yaj
urveda, from yajus meaning
"worship", and veda meaning
"knowledge") is the Veda primarily of
prose mantras for worship rituals. An
ancient Vedic Sanskrit text, it is a
compilation of ritual-offering formulas
that were said by a priest while an
individual performed ritual actions
such as those before
the yajna fire. Yajurveda is one of
the four Vedas, and one of the
scriptures of Hinduism. The exact
century of Yajurveda's composition is
unknown, and estimated by Witzel to
be between 1200 and 800 BCE,
contemporaneous
with Samaveda and Atharvaveda.
The Yajurveda is broadly grouped into two – the "black" or "dark" (Krishna)
Yajurveda and the "white" or "bright" (Shukla) Yajurveda. The term "black"
implies "the un-arranged, unclear, motley collection" of verses in Yajurveda, in
contrast to the "white" which implies the "well arranged,
10. Mahabharata Mentions The Concept Of Cloning, Test
Tube Babies, And Surrogate Mothers
The fact that in the
Mahabharata, Gandhari had 100
sons is pretty well known. But
what’s unknown is the scientific
explanation behind her giving
birth to a 100 kids. Each
‘Kaurava’ was created by
splitting the single embryo into
100 parts and growing each part
in a separate kund (container).
This is identical to the cloning
process today. The birth of
Karan, who was ‘born from the
“characteristics adopted from
men of her choice” also has
striking resemblance to the
present-day test tube baby
concept.

12. According to ancient studies, the second toe is directly related to
pregnancy. Therefore, the ring in the toe creates acupressure, which leads
to a healthy pregnancy. It also helps the bride to be mentally stable. The
specific nerve where the ring produces acupressure is connected to the
uterus. This keeps the parameters in and around the uterus stable, making
the pregnancy healthy and stable. Our ancestors never used the surgical
method “caesarian”. In recent times, its use for delivery has increased as
many women have stopped preferring the ring.
Menstruation is also controlled by time intervals resulting in a married
woman having a higher chances of conceiving.
It regenerates the reproductive organs and reduces gynecological
problems.
Silver is a good carrier, so putting a ring in the ring helps to get polar
energy from the earth and then distributes it to make the body fresh and
energized.
One culture sows and another culture benefits, all cultures in the world
should learn to respect this great culture without mocking this great Indian
culture.
13. Sushruta Samhita, The Oldest Medical And
Surgical Encyclopedia Known To Mankind
Written during the 6th
century BC, the
Sushruta Samhita
contains 184 chapters
with descriptions of
1,120 illnesses, 700
medicinal plants, 64
preparations from
mineral sources and
57 preparations based
on animal sources. Its
author Sushruta is
also considered to be
the first ever human to
perform medical
surgeries on humans.
14. The book also has vast details on embryology, human
anatomy, along with instructions for venesection, the
positioning of the patient for each vein, and the protection of
vital structures (marma). The oldest documented evidence
(9000 years) for the drilling of human teeth of a living person
was found in Mehrgarh along with the evidences of
orthopedic surgeries.

16. In ancient Vedas Chemistry was called as
“Rasayan Shastra”, 'Science of liquids
(Chemical)' was called as Rasa-Vidya,
Rasatantra and Rasakriya. Vedas
Mentioned about chemical laboratories and
chemicals works, which were called
“Rasakriya-Nagaram” and “Rasakriya-
Shala” which means 'School where
Chemical are activated'.
RASAYANA is composed of two words
i.e RASA means “ fluid or juice ” and
AYANA means “ pathway ”.
17. • RIG VEDA mentions metals like gold , copper , silver and
bronze .
•A golden earring and jwellery are mentioned thus :
HIRANYAKARNAM MANIGAREEVAM
• SUKLA YAJURVEDA mentioned about tin and lead also :

19. The German physicist Werner Heisenberg
once said … “About Indian philosophy,
some of the ideas of quantum physics that
seemed so crazy suddenly became more
meaningful”.
The concepts of atoms, molecules and
substances can be traced back to the Vedic
age. Moreover, the concepts of astronomy,
metaphysics and spirituality are described in
the Rig Veda, the ancient Hindu scriptures
of the Vedic period.
20. ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ Precisely Calculates The Distance
Between Earth And Sun
“Yug sahasra yojana par bhanu,
Leelyo taahi madhura phal
jaanu”
21. Hence, “ yug sahsra yojana ”, the first 3 words mean
12000*12000000*8 = 96000000 miles
or
153,600,000 kilometers
The above excerpt is from the hanuman chalisa and translates to:
‘[when] hanuman travelled thousands of kilometers to swallow it
thinking of it as a fruit’. The word-to-word translation of the same
excerpt reveals the distance that hanuman travelled.
1 yuga = 12000 years
1 sahsra yuga = 12000000 years
Also, 1 yojan = 8 miles
Interestingly, the actual distance from earth to sun is 152,000,000 kms.
Bafflingly, there’s error of just around 1%.
22. Vedas and Electric cell
Maharishi Agastya and his wife Lopamudra are celebrated
author of some hymns in the Sanskrit text Rigveda and other
Vedic literature.
The ancient text of Agastya Samhita written by Maharishi
Agastya describes the method of making an electric battery.
For generating electricity Maharishi Agastya has used
following materials.
1. One Earthen pot
2. Copper plate
3. Copper sulphate
4. Wet saw dust
5. Zinc amalgam

earthenware vessel. Cover it first with copper sulphate
and then with moist sawdust. After that put a mercury-
amalgamet zinc sheet on top of the sawdust to avoid
polarization. The contact will produce an energy known
by twin name of mitra-varuna water will split by this
current into pranavayu and udanavayu. A chain of
hundred jar is said to give a very effective force.
24. Vedas and Newton’s Laws of Motion
ACHARYA Kanaad has mentioned in Vaishehika
philosophy that the word karma is related to
motion. According to him motions are of 5
types:
1. Upward Motion
2. Downward motion
3. Motion due to release of tensile stress
4. Shearing motion
5. General type of motion
Newton’s law of motion published those laws in
a book named “Philosophiae Naturalis Principia
Mathematia” in 5th July, 1687. but scientist and
philosopher Maharishi Kanaad had discovered
the laws of motion long before newton
25. 1st Law of Motion
Maharishi Kanaad: वेगः निनित्तनवशेषात किमणो जायते |
(Translation: Change of motion is due to impressed force.)
Newton: The change of motion is due to impressed force.
The law states that an object at rest tends to stay at rest and an
object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in
the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
2nd Law of Motion
Maharishi Kanaad : वेगः निनित्तापेक्षात किमणो जायते नियतनिक नियाबन्धहेतुेत |
Translation : Change of motion is proportional to the impressed force
and is in the direction of the force.
Newton: the change of motion is proportional to the motive force
impressed and is made in the direction of the right line in which the
force is impressed
3rd Law of Motion
Maharishi Kanaad: वेगः संयोगनवशेषनवरोधी |
Translation : Action and reaction are equal and opposite.
Newton: to every action there is always an equal and opposite
reaction.
26. Vedas Explained The Science Behind
The Rather ‘Feared’ Eclipses
While the world feared the
eclipses and associated all
types of paranormal
occurrences with the
phenomenon, Vedas already
had a very proper and
scientific explanation. The
below excerpt is also proof
that they knew that the moon
wasn’t self illuminated.
Rig Veda 5.40.5
“O Sun! When you are
blocked by the one whom
you gifted your own light
(moon), then earth gets
scared by sudden darkness.”
27. During an eclipse, the sun is obstructed by the moon or the earth, so
that the wavelengths of ultraviolet rays and blue light do not reach the
earth sufficiently. Therefore, the level of bacteria in cooked food
increases. If we eat the same food, it can lead to illness. Therefore,
our sages suggested that food should not be cooked or eaten during
that time. Kush or Darbha grass is kept with food items, the
nanoparticles of which destroy the toxic rays.
28. Our body has its own magnetic field, also called
the heart’s magnetic field. Similarly, the earth
also has its own magnetic field, which extends
from south to north. If we sleep with our head
facing north, we are letting our magnetic field
become asymmetrical in the earth’s magnetic
field. This can lead to problems related to blood
pressure and your heart has to work harder to
overcome this disparity of magnetic fields.
Why one should not sleep with head facing north?
30. Aryabhatta’s Deduction Of The Value
Of Pi
According to documented history, the irrationality of pi was proved
in Europe only in 1761 by Lambert. The great Indian
mathematician Aryabhata worked on the approximation of the
value of pi ( ), and concluded that is irrational and its value is
approximately 3.1416. He did this in 499 Common Era at the age
of 23.
31. First Ones To Measure The Circumference Of
Earth
Sadly, the Greeks
enjoy the credit for this
discovery while it was
actually Aryabhata,
who deduced a
formulation proving that
the Earth is rotating on
an axis. Then, by
estimating the value of
pi to be 3.1416, he
concluded that the
circumference of Earth
was approximately
39736 kilometers. The
actual circumference of
Earth, as deduced by
scientists today, is
40,075 kilometers. How
freaking cool is that!
