Collectively, these tools help organizations plan and execute their strategies but also monitor, learn and adapt their strategy and its execution to achieve sustainable organizational success.

Strategy activation and focused execution create a continuous cycle of improvement, united by the thousands of feedback points gathered from machine learning data and the eyes, ears and hearts of your organization.

User Experience has a direct impact on your bottom line, and it’s about time we start telling execs in their own language. I’m sure many of you spend a good amount of time evangelizing what it is that you do, and the value it adds. Over the past 15 years I’ve introduced User Experience to everyone from CEOs to developers — using storytelling, metrics, and case studies you can prove without a doubt the value that you bring.
In this talk I’ll explain what metrics to track, how to position your work, and stories where User Experience directly effected the bottom line.
This was an introduction to UX design for the management of a product company that was new to design, had no designers, and was trying to build a design team. It aims to educate the audience about what design is, the different disciplines of product design, the design process and why businesses should care about design.
Prototyping is not a new concept, but the role it plays in the design process has changed dramatically in the last few years. Proliferation of agile methods and the grassroots nature of design thinking have opened up new opportunities where research and design happen simultaneously. New tools for building digital prototypes have given design teams numerous options from very simple demos to complex proof of concepts.
The Devbridge Design team shares their experience and explore cases where prototyping has driven the design and research process. With varying levels of complexity and fidelity, each has had a different outcome.

Design driven companies are outperforming their competition, but what does it mean to be design driven? Design driven companies are moving past just UX, UI and product and are using design thinking and design methods in everything from organization, to strategy, to sales operations. At Konrad+King we see the key to being design driven is to keep the customer involved in every decision. In this presentation we will talk about the things you can do to become a design-driven company and ways that you can bring the voice of the user in throughout the development process.
People Over Process: Turning Assumptions into Shared Understandingmjovel
Every project is based on a number of assumptions. Assumptions about our users and assumptions that our team has a shared vision of what we are building and why we are building it. The longer we hold onto these assumptions, the greater we increase the risk of not meeting our users needs and ultimately, our project fails.
This talk will be about how we ensure we are meeting our users needs. In addition to learning project workflow, we will cover specific techniques that you can use to ensure that the user is at the center of our design and that you create a shared understanding among your team.
This presentation was given in late 2018 to the Artiman Ventures portfolio of companies by Managing Partner, Bennett King. This presentation is an overview of the steps that startups can do to become more design-driven, keeping their customers at the center of the product design/development process.

I love this quote because it perfectly explains why using a design thinking approach to better UX for applications is essential.
This is a holistic approach because we’re looking at more than just the tech, or the data. We’re researching user needs and challenges as it relates to the entire project and user experience.
It’s process innovation because we’re learning a new way to work to solve our business problems. We involve many types of coworkers, all with different ways of thinking about a problem.
