Leading complex projects in large teams are challenging – especially when you sit in a big corporation like the BBC, with over 30 products and more than 200 Designers! I learned this the hard way during my time at the BBC while working on iPlayer. 20+ UX Designers, 10 Product Managers and many more stakeholders. Using stories about the challenges I faced and how I overcame them, I'll share a set of principles that helped me be efficient, even when working on complex projects. I will cover a range of topics such as: leading a team, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues, aligning a product cross team and platforms, and setting up an effective vision.
