The life, medical, and health sciences represent a broad array of disciplines that generally involve the biology and health of people, plants, and animals. These fields, especially when the provision of medical care is included, make up an important and growing part of Michigan’s economy. Approximately 533,000 Michiganders were employed in one of these sectors in 2015, representing approximately one in eight jobs. Between 2011 and 2015, the sector added 21,000 jobs, with growth of 4.2 percent. While this growth is slower than the overall economy during this period, this slower growth is misleading. Michigan’s economy is still recovering from the sharp employment declines that occurred in the 2000s, a decline that the life, medical, and health sciences did not experience. Compared to its 2000 level, employment in the life, medical and health sciences is up 18.9 percent, while overall Michigan employment is still down 9.3 percent.1 The ability of the sector to grow while the rest of Michigan’s economy was contracting represents an important stabilizing force for the economy. The one commonality with all of the world’s healthcare systems is that they all have consumers or users of their systems. Systems were developed to provide a service to their citizens. However, the U.S. healthcare system, unlike other systems in the world, does not provide healthcare access to all of its citizens. It is a very complex system that is comprised of many public and private components. Healthcare expenditures comprise approximately 17.5% of the gross domestic product (GDP). Health care is very expensive and most citizens do not have the money to pay for health care themselves. Individuals rely on health insurance to pay a large portion of their healthcare costs. Health insurance is predominantly offered by employers. The uninsured rate remains at an all-time low with 9.1% of under 65 uninsured as of the end of 2015 according to CDC.Gov data. Generally, 2016 saw a rough increase of all the 2015 numbers. (Obamacare enrollment, 2016). The government believes this is the result of the universal mandate for individual health insurance coverage.
In the United States, in order to provide healthcare services, there are several stakeholders or interested entities that participate in the indust.
Transational medicine

Factors to consider in terms of health care assess include financial limitations, geographical barriers and personal limitations.
Health care systems are organizations established to meet the health needs of targeted populations. A well-functioning health care system requires a financing mechanism, a well-trained and adequately paid workforce, reliable information on which to base decisions and policies, and well-maintained health facilities to deliver quality medicines and technologies (Clin Oral Investing, 2018). An efficient health care system can contribute to a significant part of the country's economy, development and industrialization.
In my project, the organization I selected is Mayo Clinic. The reason for choosing it is because it is mostly ranked the top ten among the best organizations in the US. It contains the best facilities that is advanced technologies and clinical research trials. Most well-known specialists like William James Mayo who is not only the son of the founder on the clinic but also an excellent surgeon, John Kirkland who developed the first commercial heart-lung bypass machine and Earl Wood who is known for the development of G-suit in the US.

The American Heart Association and hypertension is a non-profit making organization that is mandated by the federal government to create a medical awareness program about heart and hypertension conditions among the United States residents. The main aim of initiating this activity is to help in solving health issues relating to heart and hypertension cases that are currently common in different parts of the United States.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The American Heart Association and hypertension program aim at creating outreach awareness about heart diseases and disorders and hypertension conditions. The process of creating public awareness will tend to reach a large number of people from areas to inner cities where most people reside. A mobile health care promotion program will use a public address to announce to invite the public to come for free heart and hypertension screening. The screening process will involve testing members of the public who will make to mobile screening centers.
Currently, there are various cases relating to heart and hypertension cases in different states in the United States. Statistically, the aging population is the most affected groups which have been reporting cases of heart and hypertension disorders. Usually, it is challenging to detect these conditions at early stages (Huebner, Milgrom, Mancl, Smolen, Sutherland, Weinstein & Riedy, 2014). As such, this has led to many deaths since many cases are detected when the disease is at an advanced stage, which is challenging to treat. Therefore, this program is essential because it will help in assisting members of the public in knowing whether they are suffering from such conditions. In doing so, this will help to initiate early medical actions to help in reducing the number of deaths associated to heart and hypertension conditions.

There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

Today, he serves as president of the HCA Mountain Division, where he is responsible for 11 hospitals. Greg Angle is also on the Board and Executive Committee of the Utah Hospital Association. The Utah Hospital Association (UHA) is a leader in healthcare policy and advocacy that offers educational and professional resources to its member hospitals and health management companies.
- 3. Utah Hospital Association Each year, the UHA holds a leadership conference to provide healthcare professionals with the opportunity to connect and discuss the changing face of the field. The 2016 conference will be held from October 12-14 at the Silver Baron Lodge at Deer Valley. Registration will open on July 1 and close on October 7. The theme and speakers have yet to be announced. In 2015, the conference focused on “Consumerism and the New Health Economy,” with discussions about the effect of consumer technology and social media on healthcare.
