legislators to further the best interests of
its membership base.

4. The UHA recently released a comprehensive legislative report for 2019
that celebrated a dramatic boost in overall Medicaid funding for
hospitals and healthcare systems in Utah. UHA members and officials
partnered with state legislators to bring state Medicaid funds to record
levels. Bolstered by a 4-percent increase in overall Medicaid coverage
for Utah hospitals and accountable care organization, the state should
receive tens of millions in additional funding for the 2020 fiscal year.
