1. USING THE LORD’S NAME IN VAIN
“Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that
taketh his name in vain.”

Long before the pandemic,adverse weather conditions, widespread fires, and all this stupid, godless socialist
movementcontaminating America, people have been violating the Lord’s third commandment. You hear it on
the streets,incoffee shopsandrestaurants, inbusinesses,inthe workplace,inmovies and on television, and in
homes.Itis nosurprise thatnon-believersuse itasa term of speech, not realizing what they are saying or what
the severe repercussions are. But self-proclaimed Christians? Unfortunately, it is all too common, all too true.
How seriousof a violationinGod’sEyesistakingHis Name inVain? Itis listed in His Ten Commandments above
lying, stealing and even murder.
Basically, there are four ways in which misusing the Lord’s name is most commonly applied, all of which fall
under the prohibition pf blasphemy. These situations include curses, spurning hatred, oaths and to gain trust
and opportunitiesthat benefit the malefactor. Here are a few examples, some that are well-documented and
those that many of us have had to personally experience, and in many cases, on a daily basis.
CURSES
One of the most memorable occasions when the Great I AM’s name was violated in placing a curse was by the
mouthof JeremiahWright.You remember him, don’t you? He was former President Barack Obama’s ‘spiritual
leader’whodeclared “Godd--- America!”and from of all places, the pulpit. You remember Obama, don’t you?
He’sthe one who invitedand metwithanti-Americansocialist leaders from the domestic terrorist group ‘Black
LiesMatter’ inthe Oval Office. No wonder Obama and his wife and their disciples are so screwed up. After all,
dung never falls far from the hole.
SPURING HATRED
Several daysago,I personallyexperiencedanelderly woman using the Lord’s name as a figure of speech. I was
dining next to her and a middle-aged man at my favorite local restaurant. When they saw me being seated at
the nexttable,the womanbeganmaking anti-white racist comments to the man. Each sentence that came out
of hermouth beganwith‘Lord’ thisand ‘Lord’that. Each time was followedbybigotedremarks. I ignored it, as I
alwaysdowithignorance.AsI beganto eat,the middle-agedmanpulledouthiscell phone andstartedplayinga
videoof an anti-white,anti-AmericanBLMleaderspewingouthateful,violent and vulgar rhetoric. I summoned
the hostess and asked her to tell them to put a lid on it. They resentfully complied. I admit, I did not pray for
them, neither have I since the incident. Obviously, the woman knew who the Lord was and is, otherwise she
would not have used His name in the same manner as a pitcher winds up before he throws the ball. Yet, she
purposely misused the Lord’s name to mask her bigotry with a phony holier-than-thou facade.
OATHS
How manytimeshave we foundourselvesinterrible situationswhere we look up on high and say, “Lord, if you
get me out of this mess, and I will serve you the rest of my days. This I promise you!” Yet, when the Lord
delivers, the person then says, “Well, God, thanks, but I’ll get around to serving you whenever I catch up with
whatI’ve gotta do formyself.”This is why in Matthew 5:34-35, Jesus Christ said, “But I say unto you, Swear not
at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by
Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.” Now, some Christians and Hebrews point to God, Himself, as
makingoaths,such as He would never flood the entire world again, and that the Jewish people will always be

2. His chosen ones. However, He is God, so He can do whatever He wishes. Besides that, He always keeps His
Word. Man doesnot. Christneverpledgedanoath,either.He wasthe Prophetof all prophets, God made flesh.
So,when the Lord toldpeople thingslikethe manhangingona cross on Jesus’right side that the man would be
withHimin Paradise onthat very same day,it wasnot an oath,but a guarantee.Like the Father, the Son always
keeps His Word. When swearing the Lord’s name in an oath to someone, it is considered blasphemy, and
rightfullyso.The fallibility of man is far too great to guarantee any promises one man makes to another in the
name of the Lord.
GAINING TRUST THROUGH DECEPTION
Another form of misuse of swearing our Heavenly Father’s name is through deception. For example, a man
comes to you and says, “Oh, you can trust me. I am a Christian!” Later, you find they have betrayed your trust.
Anotherexampleiswhentheytell you, “Iswearthistoyoubefore GodAlmighty!”Anotherform of deception is
our politicianslike Joe BidenandNancyPelosi, who profess to be dedicated Catholics, yet they carry the purse
to abortionists in the sum of half a billion dollars a year! As much as I love God’s Universal Church, I have to
question why no pope has not excommunicated these scoundrels like they do women who murder their
developing children?
Do you profess to be a follower of Jesus Christ, yet you use the Lord’s name in vain? You have a choice. Either
stopit nowor you, too,will endup inthe Lake of Fire,thenthe Abyss, alongside of Nero, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot,
ANTIFA and BLM.
