Brake for Unwinder
The technology developed by Eide concerning electromagnetic brakes is also
demanded by the cable industry. Therefore, solutions to stranding, coiling or
uncoiling are provided.
Specific brakes to be applied to unwiders are:
 FHY hysteresis electromagnetic brake, which provides a very smooth
braking with a high adjusting sensitivity.
 FNC high-sensitivity pneumatic brake with continuous friction, which is
characterised by its high-sensitivity response.
Brake for Lathe
Making our customers have quality machinery is also part of our work. To achieve
this, Eide's electromagnetic clutches and brakes are applied to lathes, machining
centres, rolling mills or profiling machines.
FAE is the brake especially designed for lathes.
Such an electromagnetic brake comprises an inductor core with coil and friction
material. A standard voltage of 24 V.d.c creates a magnetic field causing
deformation of the membrane spring that contains. It is compatible with most
industry machinery manufacturers.
Clutch for Coiler
Coilers are one of the essential elements in the cable industry. This is why Eide
manufactures electromagnetic clutches with own characteristics:
 NE pneumatic clutch, a proper regulation of air pressure allows the control
over acceleration and obtaining security for other mechanisms that form
the coiler thanks to a torque limit.
 SEE electromagnetic clutch, single disc clutch formed by an inductor core
and coil.

2.  SER electromagnetic clutch is compatible with most manufacturers in the
sector and self-supporting. It supports a voltage of 24 V.d.c and consists
of a single disc with a singular plane.
Clutch for Unwinder
Electromagnetic clutches specially designed for unwiders commonly used in the cable
industry are:
 EFE electromagnetic clutch-brake, narrow and short-length compact unit that is
easy to install and offers a secure service.
 NEF pneumatic clutch-brake, with a minimal air consumption and equipped with
chrome and polished shirts’ camera, this clutch-brake allows optimal performance
and can be adjusted by air pressure.
