उपरोक्त वाक्यों में “Enough” नामवाचक के आगे लिखागया है! वाक्य में
वह नामवाचक को लिलमत करता है इिलिए वह एक “determiner” है!

3. “Enough” may be used as an adverb.
This house isn’t big enough. (Adverb)
This problem is hard enough to tackle. (Adverb)
The deer ran fast enough to save itself. (Adverb)
उपरोक्त वाक्यों में “Enough” एक ववशेषण या क्रिया ववशेषण के बाद
लिखा गया है और उन्हें बढाकर बताने की काम करती है इिलिए वह एक
क्रिया ववशेषण है!

4. “Enough” may be used as a pronoun.
I have enough. (may be rest, money etc.)
We’ve nearly run out of money. Do you think there’s
enough for today’s expenses?
उपरोक्त वाक्यों में “Enough” एक िववनाम के रूप में काम
करती है!

5.  He is very intelligent. He can solve the problem.
 He is intelligent enough to solve the problem.
 He has intelligence. He can solve the problem.
 He has enough intelligence to solve the problem.

6. Observe how the word “enough” used in both
the sentences. In the 1st sentence it is
written after the adjective and in the
2nd before a noun
उपरोक्त वाक्यों में “enough” के स्थान को ध्यान िे देखखए! पहिा वाक्य
में ववशेषण के बाद और दूिरा वाक्य में नामवाचक के आगे लिखागया है!

7. Rewrite the following sentences using “enough”.
 Ramesh is so strong that he can defeat Rajesh.
 Ramesh is strong enough to defeat Rajesh.
 Karuna was so tall that she could reach the shelf.
 Karuna was tall enough to reach the shelf.
 Ramesh is very strong that he can defeat Rajesh.
 Ramesh is strong enough to defeat Rajesh.
 Karuna was very tall that she could reach the shelf.
 Karuna was tall enough to reach the shelf.

8.  Ramesh has strength. He can defeat Rajesh.
 Ramesh has enough strength to defeat Rajesh.
 Karuna did homework. Teacher appreciated her.
 Karuna did enough homework to be appreciated by
her teacher.
 The room has space. I can accommodate you.
 The room has enough space to accommodate you.
