We use “As long as” not as a comparative but as
a condition.
 You may borrow my book as long as you keep it
neatly.
 As long as you listen me, I’ll help you.
Please remember, we use simple present tense
for future actions.
ఈ సందర్భాలలో భవిష్యత్తు లో జరుగవలసిన పనులకు కూడా simple
present ని వభడడం జర్ిగింది.
We use “As long as” to talk about the
duration of time.
 Super fast train takes as long as 4 hrs. to reach
Visakhapatnam.
 Susi can dance as long as one hour without any
break.
 I can teach as long as two hours at a stretch.
We use “As long as” to emphasize.
 Mr. Prasad spoke as long as one hour!
 They supplied us water as long as half an hour!
 You should not trust these buses as they take as
long as three hours.
