This document lists and provides brief descriptions of several interesting places to visit in the United States, including Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Route 66, Miami, Death Valley, the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, and the Kennedy Space Center. Yellowstone was the first national park in the world and is home to many animal species. The Grand Canyon spans 277 miles along the Colorado River and is over a mile deep. Niagara Falls sits at the border of the US and Canada between lakes Erie and Ontario. Mount Rushmore features a large sculpture of four US presidents' heads carved into the mountainside.
