School of Architecture and the Built Environment (ABE) at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) consists of seven institutions dealing with architecture, building, land science, water technology, philosophy, economics, and planning. ABE's programs and research focus on designing sustainable cities, buildings, and infrastructure to provide livable environments and support industry. The Department of Urban Planning and Environment is hosting a free Distinguished Faculty Lecture Series from September 2006 to June 2007 with 10 guest speakers as part of the Scandinavian Master's Program in Urban Planning and Design.
