Personal statement;
I am a very polite, well-mannered and enthusiastic person. I am hard-working, helpful
and put 100% into my work. I am a very friendly person and like to meet new people. I
am also reliable and trustworthy and make sure I don’t let people around me down.
I am currently employed as a senior shop floor vehicle mechanic within a high intensity,
tracked and wheeled vehicle engineering department. I work under a demanding
organisation that requires a daily report on the availability of the fleet and is controlled
by using an online electronic engineering management system. I have a daily input with
this system, using an electronic signature process logging my work and recording all
maintenance carried out. This forward thinking and use of process management has
meant my organisation has been recognised for delivering this engineering excellence.
Deploying to such places as Canada and Poland with a highly intense workflow,
achieving the engineering availability in different environments.
Being a level 2 fitness instructor also, it is my responsibility to plan and take my peers
for physical training lessons everyday. To deliver presentations on nutrition and the
importance of staying physically and mentally fit in front of large groups. I am proud to
be part of this high tempo team. I achieve these targets by being a flexible team player,
often working past the usual core hours to deliver within our tight deadlines. I relish this
challenge and enjoy the satisfaction of achieving a team goal.
My personal performance has been noted by my superiors and I was selected for
promotion on my last annual report.
