Universal Design aims to create products and environments usable by all without adaptation, according to the Center of Universal Design. Its purpose is to create inclusive learning experiences for groups like English learners, those with disabilities, and gifted learners. To implement Universal Design successfully in the classroom requires allowing student choice, presenting lessons in multiple ways, permitting different forms of knowledge demonstration, and engaging techniques.
