2. Print based newspapers:
Pros:
- Used to be effective when
everyone would buy papers daily.
- Different papers look at different
segments of the news so there is a
paper for everyone.
- Older members of the target
audience may prefer the physical
paper because it is what they are
used to.
Cons:
- With online news, people are
stopping buying papers as it’s
quicker to google news.
- If mistakes are printed then they
can’t be corrected and it looks
really unprofessional.

papers.

day and can’t be updated
throughout the day.

on in the background just for the
noise so they might not actually pay
attention to what is being said.

the car, at work, at home, where
ever.

Cons:
- If you miss the news on TV, most
people are not inclined to go back
and watch it on demand, they’ll just
google it.

at least once.

easily.

Cons:
- Some apps are only able to be
downloaded if you IOS or Android
which means you are limiting your
audience.
- A lot of research and development
is needed so it’s time consuming to
produce an app.
- A lot of people look at google or
social media for the news before
they use an app as social media
can view all news providers at once
instead of one singular app.
Pros:
- Anyone who has a compatible
device can download certain apps
meaning you can reach a wide
audience.
- Apps can be updated all the time
so news apps can constantly be
refreshed in real time to contain
new information.

mobile device so should be able to
use the app easily.
