develop integrated insurance products and solutions,
tailored to their customers current needs, also to a modern

UNIQA Asigurari became the first private equity company in
Romania in 2008, after the takeover of UNITA and becoming
a UNIQA Group member. UNIQA is delivering a wide variety
of insurance products not only to individuals – life&health,
household, motor&travel insurance policies, but also to

workflow. Sales agents are empowered to subscribe a policy
from any device within a single meeting with the customer,

To keep up with the digital trends, insurers also need to
innovate their processes and technology. 88% of insurance

UNIQA’s challenge is to transition to a new stage: from
manual paper-based quote & bind and underwriting
processes to a 100% digital standard process and focus on
enhancing the quality of our customers’ experience.
Before FIntechOS solutions, all data was manually and
repeatedly input, which conducted to a lot of time spent on
redundant activities and to a long time-to-yes.
The underwriting approval flow was also manual and the
communication between internal departments and brokers
was mainly via email and phone without any traceability.
Pains as the lack of speed, integrated and automated daily
operations generated the urgent need for innovation and a
digital transformation roadmap to meet the customer’s
expectations and competition.
