This document discusses research into corporate-community relationships in urban Bangalore, India. It aims to understand the nature of relationships between corporations and their surrounding communities in terms of resource sharing. Specifically, it analyzes the impact of a Wipro corporate facility established in 2006 on the Mahadevpura region through satellite imagery from 2002-2012 showing infrastructure growth, interviews with local residents, and complaints filed by community groups. Key findings include rapid infrastructure expansion after 2006, positive impacts reported by residents, and issues around water shortage and transportation access. The study identifies water stress and offers a starting point for more rigorous research on corporate impacts on surrounding communities.
