3. Engagement
When your service responds to what your customer does, in a fun,
intelligent and personalized manner. Anything that would induce
them to stay longer and use more of your services. This approach
has long since become the governing methodology for planning the
shopping experience. So long for self service sites being no more
than online forms, engagement is making your customer wonder
whether there is actually a human on the other side, responding and
acknowledging his actions.

4. Zero-Sum Game
A situation in which a participant's gain (or loss) of utility is exactly
balanced by the losses (or gains) of the utility of the other
participant(s). If the total gains of the participants are added up, and
the total losses are subtracted, they will sum to zero. Thus cutting a
cake, where taking a larger piece reduces the amount of cake
available for others, is a zero-sum game if all participants value each
unit of cake equally.

5. Predictive Analytics
Using the accumulation of user events to attempt a forecast on
user behaviour. Several mathematical representations are used to
create these predictions, naming two are Markov Chains and
unsupervised machine learning algorithm for clustering. Based on the
assumption that what happens next depends only on the current
state of the system, the predictive algorithms extrapolate on its
current experience of users behaviours to provide a relative
distribution of what may happen next

Picture your customer base as a wheat field, where each individual
points slightly in a different angle. It’s literally impossible to realize
trends and behaviours form such a picture, unless you have
machine learning algorithms to aid you. Machine learning clustering
can quickly group together all the customers pointing the same
direction. Bunching up your customers makes it so much easier to
see where are the majority pointing to and characteristics of each
group and where they are heading.
