Terahertz communication has the potential to enable wireless terabit-per-second links within the next decade by providing an unprecedentedly large bandwidth to overcome current capacity limitations. The talk will discuss the state of the art and challenges in developing high-speed terahertz devices and antennas, as well as research on terahertz channel modeling and the impact of propagation effects. It will provide an in-depth view of utilizing the terahertz band for applications such as wireless massive-core computing, nano-device communication, and high-definition content streaming between mobile devices.
